Where do I start? We entered the bar, and thought the placement was great. We added money on the pool table and a regular customer was extremely rude and ignorant and would not allow us to play on teams even after we invited him and his friend to play against us two. I was speaking extremely nice and asked them to stop being rude as we tried to figure out who would take the pool table next. As he continue to insult, I reported it to the waitress only for her to call us all children and do nothing to help. As she continued to ignore us, I informed Jessica I would no longer want my drink as out whole table of 5 decided against staying due to the rudeness of the waitress. As we were leaving even though I had informed Jessica the waitress we would not be keeping our drinks she decided to start screaming and calling us insulting names only for my friends to respond with the same energy. The bar manager came out and said the bill was waved due to the situation and she continued to belittle me and my friends including the regulars who decided it was appropriate to come out and enter the argument. This lead to bigger issues outside of the bar and for our first time being there we were insulted by the regular at the pool table and even worse from the waitress Jessica. That will be 5 reviews who will be giving a negative out look to this bar. Pool Tables are meant to be shared as they’re not just for one person to enjoy and make the rules as they please. The experience is important, and if customers and servers share the same disgusting verbiage was beyond me. I would not recommend this place on Jessica the waitress alone, and those boomers who thought it was appropriate to insults us and...

We had tickets to the Mirvish theater around the corner. We wanted someplace we could have a relaxing meal and pass the time until the doors open. We noticed this gem as we were walking down yonge street. Upon entry we were told that there was a function in the room next door but we were welcome to sit in the upstairs bar area. The two servers were very friendly and welcoming making us feel like we were a regular instead of a pair who stumbled onto the location. We asked questions about the menu which were answered with a smile and suggestions on what dishes were most popular. The server mentioned they had homemade burger patties and freshly cut fries. We asked about their appetizers explaining my allergies. They suggested tje deep fried cauliflower. We were given many options for the dip and we settled on the ranch dressing. The appetizer was outstanding. We no sooner finished the appetizer when the main course arrived. I cannot put in words how great the fries were. The fries were hot,full of flavour and cut in length for easy enjoyment. The burgers were so well cooked and full of flavour. Had my friend and I had known how much food was on the plate we may not have ordered the appetizer. I cannot wait to return to this location and try some of the other dishes offered. Cute little patio, but the service was so bad I didn't have a chance to try the food b/c we left after sitting there for 15 minutes without anyone coming by to even ask if we wanted a drink.

The patio was 3/4 full when we arrived. Stood there for a moment and no one came to seat us so we just asked someone clearing a table if we seat ourselves. He gave us a sort of nod, so took our pick of one of the open (but completely messy) tables. They hadn't cleared any of the tables where people had left, which is not very inviting to say the least.

Someone came over and cleared all but one of the empty glasses on our table. And that was the last we heard from any service.

Multiple times people came out and cleared tables or brought out food, but not a single person even looked at us. Not to take a drink order, give us a menu, or even say "I'll be with you in a minute".

I saw another couple come in and sit down next to us. A waitress came out to drop off some food, and she went over to the new table to take their drink order. We waited to see if she would come serve us next, but nope, she went right back inside.

After 15 minutes of sitting there we left.
