I have visited this place a couple times since opening. Their rolls range from $2 to $9, and they have promotions where you can get 3 rolls and get a drink for free and they also currently have promotions where you can get a teriyaki salmon or salmon for $1 if you purchase a roll, or you get a roll for free with your purchase when you post and tag the business on Instagram (these offers cannot be combined).
So far, I found their rolls to be pretty good, but the fillings for some of their more premium items can be a bit lacking. So I would stay away from things like uni, salmon egg, and hamachi. I enjoyed them, but it did not feel like it was worth the price.
However, I was surprised by their teriyaki salmon and shiitake. Teriyaki salmon is not something I would ever go for, but I got it for $1 during the promotion and I was pleasantly surprised. Saw this place via social media and I love handrolls and walking/snacking while out and about is so convenient. We don't have 7/11 or Konbini like Japan but this was a pretty cool addition!
Almost everything was still in stock but I got the last Super Golden Uni that was in the basket.
Super Golden Uni - $8.95 Spicy Salmon - $3.95 Fatty Toro - $4.95 Free Corn Soup in a can for buying three. After Tax - $20.17
Ate it for lunch the next day, kept it in the fridge and took it out like thirty minutes before eating. Soy sauce package is just perfect - going to try and keep it and reuse it.
For me and my small stomach three is more than enough. A wonderful snack to go or quick meal to go. Highly recommend trying this place out if you're in the area or up north at the...
Read moreI love the wide variety of handroll fillings you can choose from like salmon, tuna, squid, uni, octopus, butterfish, shrimp, fatty toro (their most popular one), and vegetarian options too! I tried the Jumbo Shrimp, Salmon Belly, and Sesame Lobster. The shrimp one was my favourite! The handrolls have such unique packaging too so that you can roll it yourself when you eat it and the seaweed stays crispy.
They even have unique Japanese hot canned soups with flavours like potato, tomato, pumpkin, and corn - they’re the ones you would find in vending machines in Japan!
You’ll probably want to be there early in the day for more variety because they tend to...
