Once again, McDonald's doesn't fail to disappoint. I was craving a juicy, thick hamburger with bacon and cheese... (onion rings would have put my hamburger meal over the top but they aren't available there). I'm a senior, I don't adjust to change easily and I have a service 'in training'. I took a few minutes to figure out the line was for those who had ordered ahead. But when I moved under the sign for 'Order here', nobody came. The shift manager - I'm assuming the only one wearing a white shirt was such, did look in my direction several times but continued putting orders together and handing them out to those in the line. I need to have both hips replaced and I use a rollovator to get around. I can stand for maybe 2 minutes before pain makes it necessary to sit... I had to sit. I worried that I wouldn't be as visible sitting, so as soon as I could, I stood up again... and needed to sit again until a young woman came to take my order. There is no menu that my senior brain can read to make an informed choice but several screens that change messages far too fast for me to absorb the information. I don't frequent McDonald's so I'm not familiar with their products. (Once, my grandson shared a bit of his deep fried, breaded chicken breast and it was quite good... I so wish I'd order that!) I explained that I wanted the thicker paddy, (juicy, I hoped), a quarter pounder? With bacon and cheese and lettuce... she entered a few things and then I remembered my service dog is larger than my last one - could she double the paddy? Make it a combo? Sure, coke zero... (I used to design Burger Kings and for 4 days of the year, I would pick a location and work the various jobs so I could better understand what these kids had to deal with and how could I make their jobs easier or more efficient - I learned so much on these days and the lessons I learned on site went into the designs of future BK's! We had a contract with Pepsi. Anyone who came in and ordered a Coke had to be told we didn't carry Coke, but had Pepsi)... I know Coke, in their infinite wisdom, doesn't make Coke Zero anymore because we, the consumer, aren't smart enough to understand that Coke Zero doesn't have sugar... so now it's called Coke Zero sugar and the packaging has been changed to match coke classic - you have to read the package to be certain you are getting the diet formula instead of the blood sugar elevating, insulin resistance building, empty sugar loaded classic variety... Pepsi, and Burger King would have had her correct me ... she made several changes - my doubling the paddy was obviously a big deal. Order made and paid for, I moved to the 'line' and waited, sitting, my dog, a loving German Pinscher is still learning her job and while not everyone knows that a dog wearing a red collar and on a red leash is likely a service dog, please ask your children to treat them with respect(Vests are not required by law). Any dog should be treated with respect! The food... we settled next to the parking lot as the patio was locked up and unavailable, to eat the fries while they were still hot. They were their standard McDonald's near crispy normal fries... not my favourite form, but good for what they are... the burger... I think there must have been some miscommunication between myself and the person taking my order. I prepared my dog's dinner first, half a cup of kibble, one of the paddies and a strip of bacon all torn into kibble sized bits and mixed it all together... she LOVED IT! I picked up the burger that remained - no cheese - the single bit of cheese was on my dog's paddy. I made the mistake of assuming that 'double' didn't double the cheese or the bacon... in fact, there had only been '1' - 'ONE' half strip of bacon in the whole 'bacon, cheese burger' sandwich. I had a dried out, over cooked 'Big Mac' kind of paddy on a decent bun topped with sesame seeds, with 2 lettuse 'stems' that were the length of the bun's diameter, a very nice slice of meaty tomato and a huge dollop of mayo on top. A far cry from the juicy, bacon cheese burger...
Read moreThe staff here is so rude. So many people working yet they dont understand the needs of customers. Even when I asked the no meat options they suggested few burgers and were full of attitude. The girl name was AANCHAL and was not at all helpful. She pretended to know everything and was constantly nagging about telling me that it if my job to know everything about food served here. I specifically ordered egg McMuffin asking the guy about no meat and then ordered it from mobile app. But then when I got the order and took a bite it was BACONN ( PIG)! I immediately took it back to the desk and then all of the staff including their General Manager started getting all over me saying it was my crazy job to research food and then order. I am never going to have Mc Donalds ever in my life again. My religious sentiments have been hurt and this is beyond disgusting and poor customer service. All the staff just turned back and was gossiping about the incident right on my face. It was so embarassing and awful to get such customer experience. Poor poor poor poor customer management and customer relations. They dont care whose job is supposed to be what. Maybe McDonald should interview more good people who are truly dedicated towards working professionally and not in a manner that they are okay to have the customer face such incidents and be pretty...
Read moreAbsolutely disappointed with the customer service by the manager named “BEATRIZ” at this McDonald’s location.
I came in to try the new Biscoff McFlurry and specifically asked for extra Biscoff and caramel sauce. The manager named BEATRIZ herself took my order and when I politely asked her to confirm the extra topping, she snapped at me with a rude and dismissive “YES EXTRA BISCOFF AND CARAMEL, ANYTHING ELSE?” — completely uncalled for tone, especially coming from a manager.
I let it go and sat down to enjoy my McFlurry, only to find out all the Biscoff was dumped on top with more than half the cup just plain vanilla — completely defeating the purpose of a McFlurry, especially when you pay for extra.(P.S - for a regular mcflurry i paid 8$)
When I calmly approached the same manager again to point out that it wasn’t mixed properly, she accused me of being rude and “attacking her.” Absolutely ridiculous — no apology, no accountability, just defensive attitude.
I left the restaurant frustrated and disrespected. If this is how management talks to paying customers, it reflects terribly on McDonald’s. I want my refund, but more importantly, this behavior needs to be addressed. I will be sending the email to the corporate office as well.
