Nabulu Coffee 6 St Joseph Visited: April 11, 2025 | Time: 10:30 AM Rating: 3/5 Drink Ordered: Cappuccino with lactose-free milk ($7.00 CAD)
â
First Impressions Nabulu is a rustic, artsy cafĂŠ filled with character and hidden details. The atmosphere was calm and inviting, ideal for solo work or quiet conversation. While the baristas werenât particularly warm, they were efficient and professional. The space feels like a creative hub, likely frequented by artists and remote workers.
â
Coffee Quality I ordered a cappuccino with lactose-free milk. Unfortunately, the drink fell short of expectations. ⢠Espresso: Light and underwhelming ⢠Milk texture: Smooth, but overpowered the coffee ⢠Beans: From The Brothers
The milk-to-espresso ratio felt off, and the flavor lacked depth and balance.
â
Ambience & Amenities ⢠Wi-Fi: Yes ⢠Outlets: Yes ⢠Seating: Comfortable and variedâoptions for individuals, pairs, or larger groups ⢠Crowd: Quiet and local, with a laid-back vibe
An ideal place for working, reading, or catching up with friends in a cozy setting.

Overall Nabulu Coffee stands out for its unique atmosphere and inviting layout, but the coffee could use refinement. Worth visiting for the space, but perhaps not for the...

They have great coffee âď¸. My all-time favorite off the menu is their mocha lattĂŠ and cortado.
Their mocha just has a perfect balance of chocolate, milk, and coffee. Other cafĂŠs either make it too sweet or not enough chocolate. All the other lattĂŠs I've tried have been silky and smooth too.
However, the matcha and blue butterfly pea lattĂŠ were subpar đľ. It tasted of just steamed milk with a dash of sugar and nothing else đđŤŁ.
They may have a very limited menu for food and pastries but they're alright. Fig toast was savoury and sweet, quite filling too. Maybe it's just my luck but all the chairsđŞ and table I've sat on were wobbly. You have to be careful not to spill anything on your devices.
Washroom: located at the very back of the cafĂŠ. Well maintained.
*wifi: choppy đŹ. I decided to visit early but the wifi connection remained intermittently stable.
*interior: well decorated. I didnt see any dust on any corner â¨ď¸
*staff: incredibly friendly and chill. Can't help but have a friend...
Read moreOrdered a decaf Americano. It wasn't even close to filling the cup! They added a splash of my requested oat milk, and I had to ask for a tad more (even then, what you see in the picture is the total coffee and milk provided after re-asking). Maybe I'm just use to cafes that fill the cup? My cup also had a couple of coffee dripping stains on the side (which weren't wet, so I presume it was stuck on the cup already). That wasn't noticed until I sat outside. I felt awkward and didn't ask for it to be redone given the strain to get more oat milk. I also felt the service was somewhat distant and cold. I even offered to pay $1 for the oat milk at the till, but was told the alternative milk prices were for other drinks and not the Americano.
Nice and cozy interior, but limited seating. Many had their laptops so my group of 3 couldn't find a spot to catch up over coffee, and ended up sitting outside in their small courtyard out front. It was fine and a nice area next to the sidewalk. Was excited to try a new coffee shop during my visit to Toronto, but...
