Me and 2 friends went for drinks last night on the patio during pride. I am aware it’s pride and it’s a really busy time, I worked in many service jobs before, I’m really sorry to write this but we were treated terribly and I felt the need to write a review. We arrive to the bar at 10:45 pm and get seated on the street patio. The waiter doesn’t gives us a menu. It’s only when I ask that they bring one. The prices listed on the receipt were altered to be higher than the menu without prior notice. The waiter brings smaller beers than written on the menu and brings a totally different canned cocktail because they were out of stock of many items. I ask him really kindly for a cup of ice. He brings drinks over to us around 10:50pm. He cashes us out at 10:55 pm. A few minutes later he barks at us to get off the street patio and for us to look for our own seat inside the bar. We are very confused because it wasn’t communicated before. We take our full drinks to the bar patio off of the street and explain the situation to staff. The staff shrug at us because there are no tables on the patio. They send us inside to look for a table. The staff inside are also confused and don’t know where to put us. We try to go back to the patio and a server in between starts to yell at us and use physically force to push us (2 kind and shy girls) aggressively because we were apparently using the wrong door (we were trying to go back to the patio that sent us inside using the same door we came from). The aggressive and very rude server takes us through the resturant seating, through the drag show stage and on the patio again and yells at us some more and leaves us there with no table. We are pretty traumatized at this point. We have paid for overpriced drinks and tipped well and have been thrown around. There was a kind server with curly red hair that let our party of 3 sit at a table for 2. I acknowledge that it’s pride but it’s probably the worst experience going out that I’ve had in a long time. Please...
Read moreI had the worst servi I could imagine by this rude server last night. My friend and I got drinks, ordered shots for the performers and for us, we only received the shots for the performers… We were starving and wanted to order food as well. We were looking and looking for anyone to come up to us, it was very obvious we wanted to order. Finally I decide to stop the server and ask if he’s our server because we were waiting for a long time and watched all the other tables get checked on. I told him that he hasn’t checked on us and we wanted to order. Instead of apologizing, he tells me that I should have called him over. In what world does a server want or asked to be flagged down? Normally servers check on their tables. At least that’s what I was taught when I was serving (i didn’t say any of that to him) - I told him that I shouldn’t have to do that and he goes okay just pay your bill you don’t have to be rude. He kept trying to shut me up and interrupt me going “yeah yeah just pay” and I said I’m not doing anything until I speak with your manager. He then takes the bill and the machine away after my friend gives in and pays and says “okay then leave”. I’ve never seen such an impatient and rude server in my life. Believe me, there are times I wanted to shut customers up as well but you can’t act like that at your place of work especially if you’re not doing what you’re supposed to be doing. I wish I knew his name so I can add it because he needs proper training.
On a positive note, great atmosphere and loved the queens performing. I wish I could have stayed if we had proper service because I would go back for...

Nonetheless, I thought I'd give it a try & seeing a sign at the front advertising breakfast, I went in. Immediately I'm told every indoor table is reserved for Noon. It's raining so I'm not sitting outside and it's only 10 AM. By myself and even though I showered this morning, I had to agree to be out before the pre booked group arrives. Ok, I promise and I'm seated at a small table by the entrance. I order coffee, steak (medium rare) & eggs & a mango mimosa. Although the steak is too thin to be cooked as requested, the food is fine & so are the coffee & mimosa. 50 + dollars with tax & tip. Maybe for that day they could have taken the breakfast sign down as like me, a group of famished five came in seeking food but were quickly turned away.
2014:I've eaten here numerous times over the years...breakfast, lunch & dinner. The staff are nice. Less frozen foods would be a big plus. Don't intend on sitting inside during the summer. The place is a sweat box with no A/C and little to no fans...even...
