I've been eating Pizza Nova Pizza for atleast 8 years so when I ordered a pizza from Pizza Nova at 365 Front st West in Toronto and the pie tasted off, I went to the person in charge to privately and quietly let them know. The pizza tasted like maybe a cleaning chemical or something similar had fallen into the pizza and it really burned my throat.
Since, I'm pretty familiar with the quality to expect from this franchise, I spoke with the person at the front who brought out the final-boss-guy and I explained the above to him so nobody else would have this experience or get sick, but his attitude left me shocked. He told me that despite burning my throat or whatever the pizza contained, he would not refund the purchase price or make a new pizza because they "would go bankrupt if they had to give everybody their $ back". He was really rude and some of the other customers who were present in the store commented about this as well.
When I called the pizza nova number and spoke with a rep who called the final-boss-guy on the phone to discuss, he returned to the front, took my pizza and threw it in the garbage infront of me. He seemed unwell and really agitated so I left, no pizza, no refund.
Posting a photo of this fella so other patrons can avoid the place when they see him making...
Read moreI came here to eat a large pizza with a few friends after having a fasted biking session for almost 3 hours. You can imagine how hungry I was. I would have been fine with any food in that state.
I ordered the deluxe pizza if I remember correctly. After the first bite, I kept thinking to myself that has got to be the blandest pizza I ever tasted. While the ingredients seemed ok, there was literally no taste. I was amazed how a pizza could taste this bland. I actually would have given a higher score if the pizza was salty, or spicy or even sweet. It was as bland as a slice of wonder bread. I have gotten pizza from this place a few times and every time the pizza was bland. The pizzas themselves are also not that cheap so overall I definitely do not recommend this place and I will not go there.
Make yourself a fried egg instead of going here. Cheaper...
Read moreDon’t come here. There are other pizza joints just across the street. Ordered a slice of pizza in a combo and a single slice of pizza and was charged for $16+. I was puzzled why it costed that much as the menu on the screen indicated the combo was $6.35 and the single slice was $5.39. Anyway, I asked how they came up with the total. Then another staff came to the cashier and told the person who waited on me to give me back a dollar. Still couldn’t figure out why it costed $15+ with taxes included. Then the red pepper spice from the self help counter, the lid fell off and all pepper and the lid were on my pizza. All I got was an unhelpful sarcastic smile from the staff and wasn’t offered to replace my pizza. I asked for something to scrap away the excessive red pepper spice and they gave me a paper plate. Won’t be visiting this...
