The Chinese workers memorial in downtown Toronto stands tall and strong, after many years of wear and weather. It's right by the Rogers centre, so it's hard to miss. I like the symbolism it has for being placed there, as it represents all the immigrant labourers who sacrificed their lives working on building the Pacific railways that we have now in Canada. The story is sad, but a significant part of our Canadian Chinese culture and history.
