Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Toronto

I was there around 5 pm. I will start with what I thought was good about this location. The place was clean and all the supplies in the front were well stacked. The cashier at the front was very respectful and courteous. With that in mind, there were many things that I found unacceptable. The food was kind of cold and the portions were ridiculous. I was so mad when I got home lol I felt you guys counted the fries one at a time to give to me. Yall really said "120 fries exact. There you go, sir." Then you went and looked for the tiniest drumstick that I have ever seen from a chicken. Are yall cooking adult chickens there? I was laughing and angry at the thought of it but I digress. I'm over it lol I gave yall 3 stars because the cashier was nice, the onion rings portion was correct, and the place was clean. Nevertheless, yall need to tell my good sis to stop being stingy with the portions. A couple of fries is not going to kill the budget or revenue of your store. However, customers that stop going to your business because of cheap business practices will hurt...

I recently placed an order for a deluxe sandwich combo at your establishment. Upon receiving my order, I discovered that the chicken in the sandwich was total raw chicken.

I brought this issue to the attention of the staff member who was assisting me. She informed me that the chicken had been cooked for seven minutes. I inquired as to why the chicken was still uncooked after being cooked for the recommended amount of time. The staff member responded by stating that it was not there fault.

I found it concerning that the staff member did not seem to understand the severity of the situation or how to properly address the issue. This is not the first time I have encountered problems with the food at this location. There have been numerous instances where the food has been undercooked, raw, or of poor quality.

I believe that this location is in need of additional training and support in order to ensure that food safety and quality standards are being met. I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and take appropriate action to address these...

Sorry, but I have to give this place 2 stars for the cleanliness. The food was good and the service was okay (even though they didn't give me napkins and were stingy on the quantity of fries that they usually give) but I've never seen a more filthy place in my life. Every table was dirty and sticky, the window sills had fries and pieces of chicken on them, the baby booster chair looked like it had never been cleaned, the straw covers were all over the floor and next to the fountain machine, the garbage was overflowing, the receipt machine at the front counter was overflowing with receipts and the floor quite honestly looked like it hadn't been swept or mopped in at least a month. And this was the front of the house, so I could only imagine the kitchen. I would use the excuse that they were busy, but there was 4 of them standing around when I walked in pretty much chatting and not doing much, so they definitely could have had someone cleaning.
