One of the most beautiful places I've ever been to! Bathing between these two Pitons is such an experience.

We had the privilege of diving in two different sites close to Sugar beach, it was the best dive out of about 50 I got in my logbook. This place is both paradise above and bellow water.

We booked our dives with the Sugar Beach resort dive shop, although we were not staying there. We drove from Marigot Bay to here, about 1h15, it's not that far, it's just that ju can't possibly drive in St. Lucia at more than 60km/h in most places due to the geography of the place. We got shuttled down and back up at the end of the afternoon. The shuttle drivers were very polite and kind. We got Class A service.

This beach has two areas, the public one, and the one with the Resort's beach lounges. We really disliked the public area, it looked like canned sardines, no offense! We paid for the sun loungers, US$50 each. This place is very expensive, but if you know what you're visiting and the service you're getting you understand you're just getting what you're paying for. Cocktails were fantastic, and service is over the top luxurious.

I would go to St-Lucia and just stay at this resort without a...

This is a great 'view' beach. Cannot call it a beach if you're thinking of water access. It's pretty small and could possibly get really crowded - we visited during the covid time and found it mostly empty. It's on the Harbourfront cycle path and a great stop if you're using the city bikes (there is a cycle rack closeby and washrooms too).

The beach has a small sand sectio and a bigger brick road section. This is great for cycling or riding a kick scooter (again, it's best when it's not crowded. Try a sunny day during fall). There are plenty of benches and Muskoka chairs to relax and a park nearby that offers more seating.

Overall Verdict: Give it a shot if you're in the neighborhood. I consider it more of a pit stop. You will be disappointed if you're only plan is to...

I cannot express how innovative and neat this modern urban beach is. This space allows you to get out into the sun and tan ONLY (as there is no swimming option). It is a nice choice when you just want a few minutes of that beach-like feel without the full commitment of a beach day. There are built-in umbrellas and chairs (while quantities last) and you'll probably want to wear your bathing suit under your clothes as there is no change room. A towel is a smart idea to place on the ground, on the grass or on a chair if you're lucky enough to snag one. There are sometimes special events in the summer hosted here too which is really special. Overall, a perfect place for an afternoon, a picnic or just a...

This is a neat artificial beach setup along the Lake Ontario waterfront at the start of the Water's Edge Promenade and Dockside Drive. The beach was designed by Claude Cormier + Associés as part of a revitalisation of the waterfront area back in 2010. What you find is a row of tall trees creating some shade along a plaza and promenade as well as a 2 acres of sandy area leading up to the water. The beach has pink umbrellas and beach chairs facing the lake spaced out for visitors to enjoy. On the whole, a fun spot for locals and those walking the waterfront, worth a brief look-see if planning to pass by.
