The Fix Ice Cream Bar — Restaurant in Toronto

This place has one of the best ice cream I've had ! The Fix is located inside Joe Bird. I had a hard time finding it at first but once I spotted Joe Bird, all was good. It's walking distance from union station and it's situated at a place where you can easily grab and go. You get a nice view of the harbour outside or even if you choose to sit and chill inside, the view is nice.

We ordered one Nutella ice cream with some toppings (can't remember exactly what but it's one of the options on the menu) and one portion was huge. Every spoonful is delicious and refreshing. I like how the chocolate is not too strong. Aside from the amazing ice cream, which I would go to Downtown Toronto for, I found the place to have a unique "vibe". It was differently decorated and The Fix was in one corner of the restaurant. The area is cute and decorated to give you all the summer feels, even if you visit in the middle of winter.

Food: 2/10. They didn’t have any vanilla soft serve left, which meant most of their creations were unavailable. Also, we got the chocolate ice cream and it literally was the worst thing I’ve had in a long time.

Service: 2/10. The guy was nice, but holy moly - that is the slowest line I’ve ever seen in my life. Only one person, and the poor guy had to tend to about 6-8 of us in line. Be prepared to spend some time.

Environment: 4/10. The fact that it’s on the boardwalk is the only savior here. The actual booth where you’re getting ice cream could have used a clean.
