This location has mishandled my order twice now. First, they delivered the wrong pizza — a vegetarian pizza instead of the chicken pizza I ordered. I called to raise the issue, and while they said they would review it, I never received any follow-up.
Second, on a later visit, I found an actual bone in my chicken pizza. I reached out via Instagram and was told the manager would call me. A week passed with no response, so I followed up again.
When I finally received a call, the experience was disappointing:
The caller did not introduce herself and immediately asked me to wait before abruptly cutting the call — poor customer service from the beginning.
When she resumed the call, she acknowledged there was a bone but told me there was "nothing she could do" about it.
I tried to explain that there were broader concerns — not just the bone, but food safety and repeated order mistakes.
During the conversation, she stated that she was 10 years older than me and had been in customer service for a long time — not sure how she knew my age, and frankly, this felt unprofessional and irrelevant to the issue.
She offered store credit, but I made it clear I was not seeking compensation — I only wanted to raise legitimate concerns. Having a bone in pizza poses a real injury risk, and mishandling orders reflects poorly on the business.

Just ordered for takeout, the lady either purposefully left one of my two pizzas in the heater longer than the other(as pickup orders have no tip?) Or simply chose to ignore it until i walked over and aaw one of my pizzas is ready. I now have one warm pizza and one burning pizza which is inedible and literally just wasted money- not the first time this happens when you go to pickup your orders, the new guys there too ignore you unless you ask again, even if they know your pizza is just waiting there, and that you made the order an hour ago. Terrible new staff it's a shame
-once we ordered a gluten free pizza and found out too late it was regular dough. I wish i could prove this but it is bound to happen again with such terrible staff and god knows what this would entail.
Pizzas are good, staff is ruining the place, ask anyone in Yaletown and they all have the same opinion. The branch is never clean, i would always go for takeaway, the bar inside and tables inside/outside are always smudged and filthy, and the new staff is horrid.

Read moreThis location is not as good as the West 8th location. It consistently doesn't put enough sauce on the pizzas. I don't know if they're trying to cut costs or what, but the pizzas are dry because of this. They are also not good for leftovers. I used to live in the zone for the West 8th location, and it's way better. Now I'm in the delivery zone for this one and I am unable to order from the other. Nelson location, please adjust your ingredients to be more consistent with the others.
Edit: I spoke with the manager at this location about the difference between this location and the other I was used to. It appears it's their oven is hotter or just cooks differently. I had them cook my pizza slightly less time and the crust turned out perfectly. I'll be ordering from them more now because it made a world of difference in the taste.
