Prices are very high which I could accept if the drinks were good but that's not the case. Their glow juice was warm and tasted disgusting. Also it was a scorching hot day and they did not have air conditioning on (which they do have). It was terrible being in line feeling stuffy and sweaty. Even being outsider felt much cooler.
UPDATE: Seeing that the owner left such a defensive response, it just adds to the bad experience. Poor attitude is never a good sign of decent customer service. And commenting on my positive posts about other businesses? That's a pretty pettish but funny way to go about it. Yes, I do like the IGA chicken that they make in house and there are plenty of other places in town that serve great chicken as well, not sure what that or boxed meals have to do with your juice business? Implying that just because I like the food there, what you serve would not be to my taste? That's pretty silly. I actually had my mom and my sister taste the drink and they both said the juice tasted bad. And by the way, there was a big line up that day with the scorching weather (nobody is blaming you that it was hot out, it was the quality of the finished product and whole environment that made it an unpleasant experience) that I chose not to wait another half hour for a new juice, especially as we had to head over to a reservation. Also, even if ice is supposedly not standard in that particular drink, I'm fairly sure a warm soggy smoothie (which definitely tasted less fresh or palatable than anything 'packaged') isn't exactly what customers are expecting when paying that kind of price. Accepting feedback whether it's positive or negative is part of owning a business and apparently this business owner can't take the occasional negative review. I noticed previously that there were a few 1 star reviews where no comments were left and you deemed them as unfair for not elaborating on what the dissatisfaction was about. Well here I am actually giving details about my experience but instead of taking the feedback into consideration, the reaction is testy and...
Read moreI really wanted to love this place - and while the drink I ordered was lovely, the service i got yesterday afternoon left a bad taste in my mouth. At first, when I asked at the side window if they could make me a matcha latte they said yes and told me to come inside, (I didn't notice the actual door to side at first to go in to order inside and assumed the side window was open to order from) and then only once inside presented me with their actual menu and said making me a matcha latte would be custom. My friend was was going to buy something but then walked out without buying - he came in because he wanted a latte. At the time I was fine with ordering from their menu instead, but after everything else, wish I had been told that up front my drink of choice was custom at the side window. While I can understand the strategic choice to only tell me that the tables outside were for paying customers after my order and tip, I do wish she had been a bit more understanding and compromised on asking us to move to the 5 or so empty tables for two and leave her one table for four for customers, as yes - all those other tables were empty. We did move away from her premises as requested, even though I was a paying customer. I didn't think of that compromise at the time, but think that should be something they do instead in the future. When I went to pick up my drink and ice pop, she asked me how it the watermelon/strawberry ice pop tasted, as sometimes the ice pops came out more watery then flavorful. I thought they should taste their own recipes to ensure its quality before selling it...
Read moreI have been going to the Naked Sprout & Live Juice Bar for years. I enjoy their delicious menu and especially their green smoothies. My daughter had her first smoothie 1.5 years ago at the Naked Sprout and I have to say this is how I get her to eat her greens and hemp hearts! If you can have a child at 1 years old love a green smoothie you are definitely doing something right. I am always satisfied with the service and the quality of the food. If I wanted to learn about something or had an inquiry about the food or drink, I always asked and I was always informed. Everything is made fresh. Juices are not made the night before. The raw product is also locally sourced supporting local community and creates less of a carbon foot print on our planet. I am happy that I am not supporting another Cisco franchise like many of the restaurants and grocery stores where most of the food comes out of a can or plastic packaging and put on a shelf or in a cooler. The Naked Sprout also composts their pulp and peels, and make a product called Dooshie for dogs! Your animals can enjoy organic goodness too. As you can see, I care about where the food comes from, how it is made and who is making it. Food is energy and I feel vitality after eating wraps, sandwiches, salads or drinking my green smoothie at the Naked Sprout &...
