The Fyxx Espresso Bar — Restaurant in Winnipeg

I tried very hard to enjoy the expereince as my partner and I were dining in. However, we waited about 1 hour to be served, there was no one else ordering, but there was only 1 employee managing the entire day/orders/ect. We waited patiently as we thought maybe it will be worth the wait, but of course with it being just 1 person managing everything, the food was not good! We got avocado wraps and they were not made very well. We did our best to finish eating and then I used the bathroom after eating. Once I used the bathroom I realized there is simply nobody looking after the building maintenance, the building itself is falling apart and decrepit inside, when you look closely. The owner should seriously feel very disappointed for running an establishment so poorly. I understand managing a business is tough right now, but maybe you should ensure employees and customers health are still...

Great location for sure. The atmosphere is warm - lots of windows to let the bright sun in & you get a view of the street. The staff were friendly and attentive. I just think the menu is overpriced. I ordered the Basil Fawlty sandwich - $9.75 and it was tiny. They served it on what appears to white sandwich Wonderbread - for that price I would expect at least a high end bread made in-house. I ordered a Chai, this came straight out of the Starbucks Tazo Chai tetra pack box . I may as well have gone across the street to Starbucks and ordered a Chai latte. Even though I left a tip both times, the barista was really annoyed because I ordered a smoothie two days in row. Okay, I'm annoying for ordering an item from the menu. My business is clearly not welcome. It wasn't like this before the pandemic.
