think Coffee Bar - Specialty Coffee — Restaurant in Las Condes

So far the best specialty coffee shop I have found in Los Condos. They offer a variety of pour over (and aeropress) brew method options (kalita, v60, chemex) as well as your foundational espresso and milk drinks. They have a small but delicious-looking offering of bakery items and some bottled beverages, even a couple of pre-packaged sandwiches. Pésimo servicio del barista. Pedí un filtrado en V60 y lo preparó “al ojo”, es decir, sin usar balanza ni temporizador. Lo peor fue que, al consultarle de buena manera por qué lo preparó así, indicó: “hago esto todo el día, me sé de memoria el cálculo”. Luego, cuando le pregunté cómo controlaba el tiempo, me dijo que “miro el reloj” y señaló su muñeca de mala gana. Al ver su molestia, no quise seguir insistiendo y me retiré del lugar, ya que no quería discutir con alguien tan ignorante en la preparación del café. Bien es sabido por cualquier amante del café de especialidad que agregar o disminuir la cantidad de agua o de café se puede alterar el sabor, la viscosidad y otros factores que se sienten en taza.

La verdad es que el café estaba asqueroso, no se sentían las notas de cata, sino que, por el contrario, su sabor era muy amargo (claramente falló el “ratio al ojo” del supuesto barista). Me siento muy decepcionado del lugar porque le mienten a la gente que no sabe de café, les dicen que es “café de especialidad” cuando ni siquiera se preocupan por la preparación (de hecho, dudo que sea café con puntaje sobre 80 y se nota que está tostado hace meses).

The coffee is delicious, but I'm very confused about the loyalty card. It's buy 9 and the 10th icon on the card states "it's free" however, the man at the till was adamant that it was the 11th that was on the house....
