La Forastera Burgers — Restaurant in Puerto Natales

Food was fine, I had some loaded fries, which were a little soggy but otherwise nice.

However the service was attrocious. A waitress came to take my order but as nobody had given me a menu I couldn't order. Finally received a menu on a tablet. A nice idea but no language change option and the sun glare made it very difficult to use the Google lenses on my phone for translation.

None of the drinks I asked for were available.

I finished eating at 18.30. Nobody had checked on me after delivering food. I asked for ketchup and got bored of waiting so got it myself before my food got even colder. Of course they then turned up with it.

It took me 15 mins after eating to get the waiters attention and ask for a cheque. 10 minutes later he came back and asked me to wait a couple of minutes.

At 19.10, 40 mins after finishing eating, still no bill. I went to the host station and asked to pay. When I declined to add a tip l got a nasty look and no good bye.

There were plenty of staff, they are just very disorganized and poorly trained. There is no excuse to leave a customer waiting 40 mins for a bill and nearly an hour with out being checked on. There are plenty of other places in town which will serve excellent food with...

Absolutely amazing service here with unbelievably friendly staff who really so make an effort for you! Probably because the place is so new.

Unfortunately, it can get VERY expensive here (in line with all restaurants in Puerto Natales).

The burgers and chips are a little greasy but I mean that as a compliment. They are just what you need to nurse a hangover or if you're fancy some dirty food.

The place is really cosy with a fireplace burning and comfy seats. Really nice place to come if you've been on a long hike.

Mozzarella sticks are a must but the The brownie wasn't particularly great and I could have done without (pretty expensive for what it is).

The whole meal ended up costing the same if not more than food in London so it was a bit of a shock but still, it was good food and excellent service so...

The place looked very promising. We were able to order drinks. Party of four, we each ordered a burger. We had two kids with us: 8 and 10 . We proceeded to wait an hour and fifteen minutes. Nobody had said anything to us and we decided to just be patient. When my wife finally asked someone what was going on, he nonchalantly indicated that it may be another 30 minutes before we would receive our food. So we paid for drinks and left. Wish they had the decency to tell us that they were so ridiculously backed up. The really galling thing was that to-go orders were clearly being filled while we were sitting around. Their indifference to the whole thing was completely unacceptable. Would avoid at all costs. Plenty of better places to dine at...
