It used to be one of my favourite Spanish restaurants in Chile, but, as with many other places, we noticed a significant drop in quality in their dishes post-pandemic. We ordered a tortilla which was good but lacking the creamy texture, an octopus risotto which was excellent, some meat skewers lacking in taste, beef tongue in a creamy mushroom sauce - good, and a paella a la Valenciana whoch was the most disappointing dish! First, we were told the paella would take at least 40 minutes, but it made it to our table in 25 minutes, which could explain why it was mostly a soup, the rice had not absorbed any of the flavours, and both the seafood and chicken pieces were chewy, stale, and tasteless! We did go there a little past 9:30pm, and they must have rushed the paella bc the kitchen was closing, but imo they should have told us the pealla was not an option instead of serving a dish that badly prepared! Read moreI was having a lovely evening until their credit card machine rejected my Mastercard. Repeatedly. They wouldn't let me leave. I had to call my hotel and have them transfer funds to the restaurant. It was a disaster. I contacted CitiBank and they said the problem was with the restaurant's credit card machine that would not accept international credit cards.
Txipiron, better get your act together before other foreign tourists arrive. Unless you only desire Chilean tourists.
I have travelled the globe and been in literally hundreds of countries on six continents and never had a problem like this anywhere in the world. If this restaurant's technology cannot improve, it will close. If you are not Chilean, you should look for a meal...

Los platos darían como para 15.000 a quizas 20.000, no 25. La atención del garzón fue espantosa desde el primer momento, chocando con los comensales imponiendo SUS términos de funcionamiento para anotar el pedido. Apuraba a los comensales para tomar el pedido, atención con actitud desganada y altanera, al momento de retirar sin preguntar llegaba y tomaba los platos y vasos, habiendo gente en la mesa que aún no terminaba de comer, para seguir con los postres con un tono de voz alto y prepotentemente pregunta si alguien va a comer postre, nuevamente interrumpiendo a los comensales. Por último, al segundo piso llega parte del personal a almorzar junto a los clientes, que no tiene nada de malo, pero tenían los celulares a todo volumen unos viendo memes y otro viendo capitulos de los simpson con un volumen que interrumpia al resto del salon. Para colmo, al irme notè que el closet del segundo piso era un acopio de basura, el cual estaba abierto.
