Some evenings leave a mark on your heart — our night at The Mews was one of them. Hidden behind a secret door at The Londoner in Macau, this little sanctuary of Thai hospitality felt like stepping into a beautiful secret known only to a lucky few.
From the very first moment, Khun Yin embraced us with a warmth and care that made us feel like family. It wasn’t just service — it was genuine kindness, the kind that makes you forget you’re in a restaurant and believe you’ve come home.
The dishes were true masterpieces, crafted with love and soul. Every plate was a work of art — incredibly delicious, creative, and balanced to perfection. The flavors danced delicately, never too spicy, allowing every ingredient to tell its own story. The presentation was breathtaking, making each course feel like a special gift.
The cocktails were crafted with the same passion and precision — beautiful to look at, unforgettable to taste.
And just when we thought the night couldn’t get any sweeter, the traditional Thai sweets cart appeared, like a final loving hug at the end of a perfect evening.
The Mews is not just a restaurant. It’s a place where heart, tradition, creativity, and magic meet. A hidden gem that we will forever carry in our memories — and one we can’t wait...

Okay, first of all, the service is out of this world. Not only do the waitresses help you with the napkins, switching out cutlery, they also give a detailed description of the dishes. No wonder it’s a Michelin star restaurant!
Next, the ambience is amazing! You are led through a wooden wall to a section with lanterns on the wall where the light is dark and bright enough to create ambience. The music isn’t very loud, and though people talk, it’s pretty quiet (okay not quite but you get what I mean).
Finally, the food is amazing! Though it’s not completely local (Indian) cuisine (I mean as in faithful adaptation), the food is amazing. They don’t upset my stomach easily, and their taste is well balanced. You can also choose the spiciness.
Overall, it’s a pretty great and solid meal; I would recommend it if you have enough expenses and want to try Indian cuisine. Though, if you want completely faithful local cuisine, there are other restaurants for you to enjoy!
Btw I used filters for pictures, so it might not be exactly as seen...

I have visited The Mews 3x in 5 Months and was absolutely impressed! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a cozy vibe and the aroma of authentic Thai spices in the air.
The staff were very friendly, attentive, and made great menu recommendations — they really made the experience special. Elle attended our table the whole night and she was very warm and made us welcome the whole night!! Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The tom yum soup, pork shoulders, beef fillet curry and mango sticky rice desert was perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of spice and freshness.
You can tell the ingredients are fresh and the food is made with care. Portions were generous, and everything came out hot and timely.
Overall, this place is a gem! Whether you’re a fan of Thai food or trying it for the first time, you won’t be disappointed. I’ll definitely be coming...
