It’s pricey but for restaurants inside hotels and for what you get, I would consider it relatively cheap. Service is courteous and professional. Not much smiles but very attentive and efficient. They noted that we don’t eat beef and they came outside to ask if we want to change one of the order because it will use a little bit of beef oil Everything is good, ordered 5 items and none of them were miss. They have live “dance” performance during meal

Ordered: Shrimp, Sea Whelk, Egg and Cucumber Dumplings ($100) [5/5] - So satisfying and fulfilling and I don’t even usually like dumplings Lamb Cutlets with Aksu Apple ($218) [4/5] - Supposedly the only menu item that’s David Beckham’s favorite but we were a little disappointed. It’s too salty for me. The apple is grilled to perfection however Kumquats Foie Gras ($168) [5/5] - Absolutely delicious. Creamy and not overwhelming. The kumquats absolutely tie the whole dish together Vegetables Cooked with Garlic ($98) [4/5] - Standard Chinese style vegetables with garlic but it’s cooked beautifully. Not mushy or too dry. Wok Fried Cauliflower and Cured Pork ($105) [3/5] - It’s a personal preference thing since everything is prepared very well but cured pork is just not my thing. The flavor and texture of the cauliflower is on point, tho. Roasted Beijing Duck (Half Portion $428) [5/5] - A must order. Star of the table and absolutely hot diggity doggy dog delicious. Rose Lychee Black Tea ($60) [5/5] - subtly sweet and a good companion for the meal and to finish up.

This place has become one of my favorite places to eat in Macau. No Michelin stars but they are definitely close

Update (May 2025): Came here twice during our stay because we had food and beverages credit and the second time, we went all out and order everything that we wanted to try. Absolutely nothing was a miss. Everything is good Ordered: Great Lake Fish Head ($356) [5/5] - Despite of the size of the fish, the meat is tender and not dry. The sauce is delicious and flavorful. Signature Baby Lamb with Mongolian Spices ($468) [4/5] - I am not a big fan of fried dish so I am biased. I do not prefer this dish but I can appreciate that the lamb was cooked beautifully. The outer skin is crispy while the meat is still juicy. Kawas ($78) [4/5] - Traditional Xinjiang “soda” drinks made from honey. It’s tasty but it was too sweet for me Ja Jiang Noodle ($105) [3/5] - Prepared very well but it IS just Ja Jiang Noodle. The other dishes seem to overwhelm it but no doubt the noodle was cooked very well. Roasted Beijing Duck - See original review. Sea Cucumber with Bamboo Shoots Soup ($58/ person) [4/5] - The soup is so good but too thick than what...

I am the one who never writes food review in any social media. This is the second time I have been to North Palace. Maybe I exceeded expectations, it’s should be a birthday celebration dinner we had plan for a week but gave us a bad experience before it started because the greeter speak out birthday surprise that we had repeatedly remind DO NOT mention birthday celebration to the main character (birthday star). This is a very low-level mistake for a restaurant. However, I still want to highly compliment to the Master Chef Adam Li for this sincerity and caring which makes us feel being valued and willing to accept feedback. I also thank one of the female supervisor for asking us about the taste of food and then reporting it to the chef. It was also because the professionalism of the Master Chef Adam Li, we were unpleasant dinner at first finally brought back our bad experience of the restaurant. Once again, thank you Master Chef Adam Li to...
