Tucked away on the terrace at Pacific Place, Emmer Pizzeria and Cafe is a delightful escape from the typical Starbucks-filled landscape. This charming spot instantly captivates with its cozy and authentically local ambiance, perfect for those seeking a more personalized coffee experience.
As you step inside, your senses are greeted by the mouthwatering display of quiches, sandwiches, and, notably, their signature pizzas. The cafe bustles with a diverse crowd, from local businessmen to groups of friends, all finding solace in this quaint corner of the city. The atmosphere strikes a harmonious balance with just the right amount of music, creating an inviting space on a cold morning for a comforting cup of coffee.
Their menu, an ode to freshness and flavor, offers a range of delightful options. For a light but fulfilling breakfast, I opted for a perfectly frothed cappuccino with oat milk, a cheese quiche, and the ever-popular smashed avocado on toast. Despite the morning rush, service was impressively swift, and every dish arrived brimming with freshness, flavor, and generous portions.
A standout feature of Emmer is its commitment to inclusivity and the environment. The array of vegan and vegetarian options ensures that all dietary preferences are catered to. Moreover, their eco-friendly cutlery and serving dishes reflect a commendable dedication to sustainability.
The experience at Emmer Pizzeria and Cafe goes beyond just food and ambiance. The attentive service is noteworthy. Later in the day, upon realizing we had left our Octopus card at the table, we returned to the cafe. Remarkably, the waitress not only remembered us but also recalled our seating, promptly returning our card.
In conclusion, Emmer Pizzeria and Cafe is more than just a cafe; it’s a perfect little corner in the bustling city for those seeking attentive service, excellent food, and meticulously made coffee. A must-visit for anyone looking to wind down and savor the simpler...

-Margherita Pizza It featured tomato sauce, mozzarella and basil. The crust was pleasantly chewy and light, with a generous amount of cheese.
-Salmon Pizza It consisted of smoked salmon, mascarpone, mozzarella, dill, parsley, red onion, chives and lemon zest. The smoked salmon was well-seasoned and generous served. The combination of mascarpone and lemon zest heightened the freshness of the smoked salmon.
-Carnivora Pizza It comprised tomato sauce, mozzarella, pancetta, artisan-made pepperoni and nduja. The savoury salami paired well with the mozzarella, and the spiciness was on point.
-Banana & Nutella Pizza It included banana, nutella, mascarpone, almond, mint and icing sugar. The nutella added a hint of hazelnut cocoa sweetness to the pizza, and the refrrshing bananas balanced the sweetness. . I was super angry, I wish they could have called me and let me know there’s no highchair or create a phone line where someone can answer the phone.
We wanted to leave and go somewhere else but we weren’t familiar with that area and it was very hot. So we decided to stay. Anyhow, we regret staying. The restaurant’s air con was not high enough, all of us were sweating like crazy. Our sweats were dripping down like a waterfall.
Also, the servers were………. They kept putting GLASSES of water and SUPER HOT food in front of my toddler (reachable) even I specifically told them not to! Cause it’s a safety issue for the toddler.
Luckily, the food was good. But it was too expensive for the little portion and what it was. Before we left, the manager (I think) came and apologized to us regarding the highchair issue. But they really need to have a phone line that works and educate their servers for...
