I went to this restaurant on a Saturday night for dinner. the restaurant is kind of dirty and dark, and the AC was not really strong enough on a hot summer night. however the food here is actually pretty good! I had a black pepper beef rice - I'm used to this dish being pre-sliced beef but it ended up being kind of a decent couple of mini beef steak portions that I had to cut myself. the beef was quite tender and above my expectations. I enjoyed the "appetizer" of borscht soup and garlic bread as well which a restaurant that feels like this usually does not serve. my wife had a set meal with a roast pigeon which also was pretty tasty with crispy skin. the milk tea was quite strong, which I prefer to milk tea that is basically just milk. the meal also included a dessert of green tea pudding with red bean topping, which was pretty decent for something I wasn't expecting. the service was so-so, except that they let us order the takeout menu for dine in as a set meal for an additional charge $30 HKD. one extra thing to note - they will automatically add a service charge of 10% to the bill here if...
