Oishi Shabu — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

I've been to quite a few all you can eat restaurants in Hong Kong and I don't really ever write reviews but I feel I have to for this one. This is the best all you can eat restaurant I've been to in HK.

Firstly, the price is competitive with any all you can eat, from 160-360 depending on the sets, but the quality is better than most. Although you won't find as many sushi options as a dedicated ayce sushi restaurant, the quality shines and the option of having a Shabu Shabu hotpot as well is awesome.

We had the new lemon pepper hotpot which was super tasty. Unlimited A5 wagyu was really crazy. The fact that there are hot drinks as well as cold drinks and a range of desserts that challenges a conventional restaurant, let alone the usual offerings at buffets, was outstanding.

I'd highly recommend upgrading to set C to access the full menu, wagyu beef, and delicious chocolate fondue dessert. My girlfriend almost died with happiness eating durian on durian in pancakes, a parfait and a sago.

I cannot more highly recommend this for an all you can eat restaurant especially as it wasn't too busy when we got there (20:15 on a Friday) and the service was also helpful, friendly, and efficient; I'm telling...

Restaurant is hidden in a small building on the 2nd floor. Everything is ordered via a QR code on your phone so its very easy and convenient. Food comes very quickly and you can help yourself to any of the drinks or vegetables in the buffet area. Meat, seafood and desserts are ordered via the QR code but its still buffet style. When there's only 15 minutes left, a waiter will come and give you the bill and tell you you have 15 minutes left to put any last minute orders through.

We went for the cheapest option as we didnt really need the extra sashima or sushi etc. Wide range of meat: lamb, pork, different cuts of beef. Seafood includes prawns, muscles, fish balls etc. Desserts: ice cream, matcha ice cream, matcha parfait, durian pancake, pomelo sago, milk pudding, mango pudding etc. The pomelo sago and milk pudding are really nice - a must try.
