Went here ages ago. When I saw pictures of the soy sauce with spring onions, I just knew I had to try their signature egg because it comes with the sauce. Ordered egg with roast pork and egg with prawns. Both came beautifully done with lots of spring onions embedded in it, and the colour of the spring onions were still jade green and fresh. The roast pork was thinly sliced, lean, tender and soft, much better than the specialists that sell roast pork! Before I tried the egg, I tried the soy sauce first, the one thing that made me come here. The soy sauce had some stir-fried spring onions in it, and there was some spring onion sweetness and aroma to the soy sauce. Early dismissal on Christmas Eve allowed me to try Shun Hing out, as Shun Hing closes early at 4pm, and is always so crowded during weekend. I arrived at 3pm and there was still a queue outside the restaurant! So be prepared to line up!
The pineapple bun with smooth scrambled egg I came for was sold out :( So I got this Shrimp & Egg Rice indeed, and it’s so good too! The smooth scrambled egg definitely lived up its fame, so smooth with heavy egg flavor! There was generous amount of shrimps as you can see, and they were very fresh and meaty! Nom nom!

Recommended to arrive early on weekdays. There’s generally a wait but turnover is high. You can choose to sit indoors or across from the store which is an alley. Outdoors is nice during the winter but you will hv compromise on some smells.
