We chose this place because of its late opening hours. Food arrived very quickly after ordering and generally tasted good. Portions-wise is on a smaller scale: a large sized of marinated sliced goose is barely enough for 3 persons.
Perhaps what disturbs the most was the staff attitude. 2 of the ladies were almost forcing us to order beers while only one of us wanted only 1 beer.
Also, one rude lady staff tried collecting the menu back saying it is not allowed to take pictures─which is ridiculous cause there were not any rules printed anywhere in the restaurant and she failed to answer why when I questioned her.
Let me be clear again, I do not have ANY money gain from doing all these. I do this because I genuinely want to benefit people and help people to do better research when finding a restaurant. I paid by myself to have this dinner and I think anyone who eats here have the basic rights to record the food...
Read more2 floors of delicious traditional food that serves quick and hot. Good decent space for HK place but LOUD! Servers screams and curses loud in front of customers (to each other), customers are loud as well... Guess beer will do it! Biggest issue is when waitress took our order, we asked if mariebted tofu comes with the euck slices and /or combo with other stuff... She said of course... Never telling us that it's an extra $10hkd (not that it's a lot but still).... Food wise was amazing.... The pig blood was tasty... Brought me back to when I was young and eating it for the first time😘. Cold dark head fish was also yummy with no fishy taste. Oyster pancake was fill with oyster and crispy. The marinated duck with octopus was nice and tender and not salty. The salt and pepper (nine stomach fish) was extremely soft and tender inside while crispy outside. Go for the food and...
Read moreI was shopping around the street markets in this area looking for cool phone cases when i asked a local shopkeeper where to eat good local Hong Kong style food. She told me directions in Cantonese, and pointed off in the distance. The only thing I could remember was the name. I got lost entering the small alleyways but somehow found myself here. They had both English and Chinese menus and ordering was very easy with the waiters. Being the only foreigner amongst a restaurant full of Hong Kong locals, I knew I was in for a treat. The food was more than flavorful, my cousin (who basically found the place) told me that this was the "true and genuine" Hong Kong style fried rice.
