The service and atmosphere in this restaurant is decent or better than others. Although the food is good, the reason that i rated this restaurant's food 1 star is because I FOUND A FRICKING PLASTIC MY FOOD. Wish i could have give it a 0 star.
It all happen when I was eating lunch with my family and it's also my first time trying out this cool restaurant. When I went in the shop, everything was fine… I started by ordering some basic food. I ordered macaroni with abalone and ham. The food came and the service was quick and good… Until I started eating… At first the food was decent and fine. Suddenly, I felt something weird in my mouth… it's felt like a shrimp shell or something like that. Until, I took it out… IT WAS A FRICKING PIECE OF PLASTIC… Now I don't know how you guys get some random piece of plastic in my macaroni, but this is unacceptable… LIKE HOW YOU FIND A PLASTIC AND EVEN PUT IT IN MY FOOD?! This is actually a big issue since i don't know where that piece of plastic came from or which product it's from… What if I accidentally SWALLOW IT? HUH?
I know I might be over reacting for a bit but I just want what’s best for the restaurant. Please take this as a feedback and not as a...
Read moreMy first review. Not a fan to shame any business as i understand no business in this time and age is easy. But as I write this with a heavy heart. Action needs to be taken. If there was a 0, I would have given it a 0. We went in at 1210am. Understand that they close at 1am. We were rushed to order(by the manager i believe. Who was bucked tooth)(couldnt get his name), which was fine with me. Because they had to close at 1. We ordered a Maggie noodle with luncheon meat and egg, spaghetti with pork, bread with condensed milk and some drinks. When the food arrive, we asked for a side plate, they said they don't have. The waitresses were equally unfriendly in any sense at all. After we were done, we left. I asked for the managers name and a name card but was told by him, "I don't have a name" and we do not have a name card. I don't believe any cafe would have done the same thing anywhere in the world other than this particular one. In short. This cafe and left me undoubtly lost for words. I sincerely hope for the future of the business, that management take necessary actions.

Read moreI've tried this new Cha Chaan Teng yesterday afternoon. There were many people in the restaurant, but not full.
I ordered a set meal – satay beef macaroni soup, scrambled eggs with black truffles, a slice of Denmark toast and a cup of hot Ovaltine.
They’re quick in serving dishes. Just waited for around 10 min, in my case.
Satay beef macaroni soup Just mediocre, not really special. The satay sauce was somewhat salty for me. But when eating the beef with macaroni, it’s fine.
Scrambled eggs with black truffles It’s soft and well-seasoned but the eggs itself was not eggy. Actually, I don’t like the taste of truffles. So, it doesn’t impress me.
Denmark toast This is my first time eating a Denmark toast in Cha Chaan Teng. Something new to me. The toast was pretty crispy, but it’d be perfect if it’s not buttered.
Ovaltine It’s normal, hot enough.
Summary The portion size is enough for me (girls), not pretty sure if boys will be full or not. This set meal costs me $50. I think it’s a bit expensive when compared to other Cha Chaan Tengs in the same district which cost...
