As I entered Keisetsu, I found myself immediately intrigued by the delightful fusion of Omakase, fine dining, and Japanese cuisine. Located in the heart of Causeway Bay, this exceptional sushi dining spot offers both quality and affordability.

During my visit, I opted for the lunchtime Omakase Set, which comes complete with a variety of appetizers, soup, an 11-piece sushi platter, and Nagoya-style eel rice. The thoughtfully crafted menu takes diners on a comprehensive culinary journey from cold to hot dishes.

For appetizers, I started with a fresh, crisp salad that cleansed my palate and prepared me for the dishes to come. The smoked bacon and fried potatoes that followed added a delightful burst of flavor and texture.

The star of the meal was undoubtedly the sashimi set. Each piece showcased the chef's dedication to freshness and flavor. I marveled at the delicate and refreshing taste of red seabream, succulent and flavorsome scallops, rich and delectable fatty tuna, and the distinctive and visually appealing bioluminescent squid. While the fatty bluefin tuna was enjoyable, I found it to have a more standard taste and quality compared to the other standout selections.

The Hokkaido scallop deserves a special mention. Its rich and buttery texture, devoid of any fishy taste, was simply irresistible—even for someone like me who typically avoids fatty foods. The chef's skill and passion for crafting the perfect sashimi experience shone through in every bite.
