One off experience on this fake Japanese style Cafe

Service: Wait to be seated. Decoration and ambience is Japanese style. Instead of you, the waitresses are slow living and relax. Asked one of them to take order. She cleaned up another table, bring 2 more customers to table before attending you. Asked for 2 cups of water. And of course you have to remind them again to achieve your purpose. They are telling really you who is the boss there.

Food: To be fair, food portion is okay. Taste-wise, it's just average. The chicken served in my breakfast is just pre-marinated chicken steak, soaked in hot water just to get it a bit of temperature. Taste is just like the ones you can get from convenient store.

Value: Per person I spent around $120 for a breakfast. Bear in mind no drinks are included. you can get similar food in a cafe for 60 to 70. The difference, you know you are helping them to pay the rent in mall.

Lousy service, average food, high price tag, you do the maths. Find something else if you...

Coffee here is decent. Popped by here despite the poor review and instantly regretted after placing my order.

Cashier was nice and kind. However when she told the barista (for context, it’s not some typical CCT auntie that shouts around. It a young girl with a mad jellyfish hairstyle) my order and further explained that I haven’t paid, she scream out loud and said “next time have pay don’t even take the order!!” (While I was counting through my coins and notes) barista repeated more than 3 times in the short amount of time I was there.

When I handed over 5$ in coins to the cashier, she asked the barista if they accepted 50 cents coins and she went on to say “NO WE DON’T” Seriously? Just wanted to get a cup of coffee but their attitude spoilt the morning. Starting to understand more why people are avoiding HK tourism...

Every day I have to walk past this place and have been smelling the amazing aromas. Wish they opened earlier to cater to the work crowd but anyways we finally got to try the place!

In short, The pudding was delicious. The soufflé cheesecake was also scrumptious (although my friend prefers the harder American style cheesecake I think this one was great).

Our shrimp avocado croissant was ok. My friend’s scrambled egg avocado croissant looked much more appealing.

The mint mocha was delicious to begin with but started tasting like medicine towards the end. My friends enjoyed the rose latte and the matcha latte.
