Monmono (Tsim Sha Tsui) — Restaurant in Kowloon

TLDR: not worth the money.

My partner and I found this place online and thought the food and aesthetic looked great, so booked in for the 6-course set dinner menu for 2. We were meant to have a 2 hour sitting but instead were rushed through from start to finish. Both the pasta dish and the main meat dish were given to us at once, ‘last orders’ were called after the soup course (course no.2), and the bill was given to us at the same time as our desserts. When we didn’t pay immediately, the staff returned when we were mid-way through eating to request that we pay so they could settle the till.

I don’t understand why you would take a 6-course booking if you were closing an hour after we got there…

In addition, the food was mediocre, especially for the price. The prawns in the pasta dish were translucent, and the lamb shank tough without any flavour. Really disappointing...

Walking into the magic blue house. All blue tone interiors painting really attractive . My favorite parts of the blue tone is main entrance. The decor, table seating and cutlery are covered in dark blue tones.

Tiger prawns and mentaiko pesto pasta are recommended. The hand-made pasta is very chewy, and each bite is also full of mentaiko pesto, which is very delicious.

The interior of the restaurant looks nice, but the food was so overpriced and tasted bad... The veggie soup was miso soup with some veggie but super salty and not edible, my burger was ok, but my friend's spicy beef baked pasta was terrible, the spiciness is from chilli powder but doesn't taste much of other flavour, my milk tea was very watery and tasted horrible.
