Ok people before you go on to read all the great reviews of this restuarant, I hope you don't miss to read this one am about to write!
so if you re planning to go to this place for filling up your hungry tummy then it is a big NO NO. Although their food tastes exceptional, their portions are way too small than it used to be before hence the prices does not go so well with the quantity of the items. We were 5-6 people and ordered a chicken biryani pizza buffalo wings and 2 other items including naan breads unfortunately none of us felt satisfied because the food served wasn't enough and certainly not up to the high level of pricing. I guess keeping standard matters ? I appreciate the Indian Sikh guy waiter there as he was the ONLY one in that rush hour to handle customers alone sadly no other waiter/person was there to accommodate us one of the lady workers seemed to be drunk and sleepy and behaved rudely with us. She could not communicate with us as she had a difficult time hearing us out probably because of their annoying loud music!
Overall the experience was really bad never going back again. I guess someone who likes to show-off more than eat well, might decide to go there often but it just...
Read moreHad a big family gathering of 21 people (adults and teens), with mix of Veg and Non-veg eaters, from overseas. This palce was the perfect fit for our diverse group, offering a wide variety of choices from both Indian and non-Indian menus.
The manager took excellent care of us, and both he and the staff were very accommodating, ensuring we were comfortable. He gave us section to ourselves, which made our experience even more enjoyable.
I opted for à la carte menu (plan was decided the morning of hence too short to set a menu), and the manager recommended the same. He guided us through the dishes, catering to our varied palates.
We had dishes across the menu from Indian, Mediterranean, Pizza and Pasta.
Among the dishes ordered, these dishes were well liked by us; group; Onion Bhajiya, Hara Bhara Kebab, Chicken Tikka, Shish Taouk. The standout dishes, however, were Zafrani Paneer Tikka, Dal Makhani, and Lamb Rogan Josh.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience. Although I've dined here before, this time it stood out, credit to the manager (Thank you, Garry).
Will be going to try the...
Read moreSpice has been delivering high quality dishes and liquor that honour their respective cultures and they taste very very well. This has been, in particular, true for South Asian dishes (Halal too, by the way). This place is a dining paradise for those who really expect high quality food in a restaurant/bar setting - like me.
I'm particularly into their devotion of bringing the word 'Spice' to life, allowing a good mixture of spices into their dishes that really tickles your appetite. No matter how little or much you require, they can deliver. Just negotiate away and they'll most likely bring you what you want.
I think this also comes down to the owner of the restaurant being a South Asian himself. The owner truly brings the friendliness and hospitality of which great South Asians exhibit, along with the dedication to the pride of their food and drinks, into Hong Kong.
A restaurant that truly has become a gem within the terrace.
I have been coming back here over and over for its excellent vibe, friendly services and I just continue to wonder why this place doesn't open up...
