I came to this restaurant with high hopes after seeing the Google reviews. Unfortunately, I was left sorely disappointed. The problems started when we tried to order our meal. We were immediately overruled by the owner who said we should only order one of our preferred dishes and order a different combination of breads. We accepted (didn't think we had much of a choice). But then the owner began to try to upsell us on a number of things, including lassi, spring rolls and kebabs, without advertising their price. Thinking they were complimentary (as we had already been given complimentary water bottles and soup), we accepted. In the kitchen there were several microwaves which were in constant use, suggesting much of the food was simply being reheated. Sure enough, when the food came out the paratha tasted like it was microwaved from the frozen packets. The food was not very tasty. The curry we ordered didn't turn out to be enough, and when we again tried to order our original order we were again overruled, and an alternative was suggested. I was so confused by the Google reviews, given the experience I had, and the answer came when I saw the owner solicit and watch over a neighbouring table of ten people, essentially walking them step by step on their phones to put in a 5 star google review. He even told them to put in one or two sentences so it isn't flagged by Google as a fake review! By this point I felt totally scammed, but the real shocker came when it came time to pay. All those supposedly "free" extras led to a bill of 400HKD for two people! For microwaved and reheated meals! I really hope google can clamp down on these places that actively solicit for reviews so customers aren't duped. Avoid this place if you can!

We had to check out this little Pakistani restaurant solely because it had so many 5 star reviews. I was convinced it must be a scam! To our surprise, it wasn't! This little gem is hidden on the second floor of an old building block. It's an unassuming place and puts you off guard for just how good it is. The food is excellent, the service is superb, and the price is astonishing for the quality and amount given. In fact, you can eat as much as you like for some items. This includes nan bread! You'll also be pleasantly surprised by the level of cleanliness here. It's clear that the owners take pride in what they do and actually care about offering great food at a great price, in clean surroundings. It's hard to fault them really. The price and quality is too good, to the point that I felt it wasn't fair on them. For the record, I've never said this about any restaurant before. I took a photo of the interior before we ate, fully expecting to be writing a very different review. I wish I had taken photos of the food, but I was too busy devouring it to think about photos. If I'm being nitpicky (I always am!) I would say that I'd like to see more thought going into the atmosphere. Put some music on, maybe bring some more of the Pakistani culture into the restaurant so that we can enjoy that as we eat. Other than that, this place is fantastic for foodies and a must visit if you're in Hong Kong!

We're fascinated by their consistent 5 stars rating, the restaurant isn't easy to find but we patiently search for it. Their food is really good and they're kind to let me charge my phone. We haven't finished eating yet while the waiter is asking me to give them some Google reviews and 5 stars rating (no wonder) I told him i'll do it later but he's presistent to make me do it and show him before we leave. My friend paid our bill, and I found out the waiter asked her more HKD 50 without my knowledge. After confrontation he gave it back to us. I'm writing this to remind potential costumers to be more aware of paying and so that it doesn't happen again in the future. We felt good after having a good dinner, also our first time to try this kind of dish. When we left, my friend and I felt disappointed. After granting their demanding 5 stars request, this can still happen. 千万别上当!! Response: Hello, Mr. Ilyas I'm sorry but there must be a misunderstanding. I'm not sure if you're the one who served us, however I remember what we ordered; 1 Beef Biryani HKD 100 1 3 Dish Buffet comes with free cold drink, maha, and roti HKD 100 So we're expecting to pay HKD 200. Not HKD 250. You're so generous to offer me 1 free softdrink. But I'm not sure about the free bottle of waters you're saying. You might want to check the CCTV if you have any. Thanks for the invitation.

We found this place just by doing a google search! What a find. Don’t let the exterior and the route to the restaurant put you off, once there, you will be well looked after. The manager/maybe owner, was incredibly welcoming, he spent time to explain the menu and how the two options work to us. He made recommendations and gave us background of when he opened the business up. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty; however, by the time we left, there was not an empty table to be found. We ordered the samosa chaat for starters, followed by the butter lamb (uhh yumm) and sag paneer (reason why i gave 4 instead of 5 stars for the food). We also ordered naan and rice to go with the food. Everything was delicious, flavourful and the service was first class. If ever I am in HK again, i would definitely go back. You even get complimentary bottled water and a pallete cleanser in between meals! I highly recommend this place, you will not regret it. Testament to it was a large range of diverse people here. Oh and the mango lassi is a must! I don’t normally like it but this was lush.

Went here with no expectations. It was a random google find trying to find a place to eat at near where we are going to shop. Was curious about the 5 star google rating so we decided to check it out. The building was not that hard to find just beside MTR exit N5. The place itself is a bit hidden on the 2nd floor of the building but there are plenty of signages so won’t be hard to miss. The place is clean. Has napkins, sanitizer, sockets for charging, plenty of electric fans (there’s also an ac but wasn’t sure if it was turned on when we were there since weather in HK is getting cooler now). The manager (or maybe the owner) speaks english and canto! Can communicate very well and is enthusiastic about explaining Pakistani food. Service was excellent! Food is a super good deal for the money. We took the “surprise us” deal where the Manager will decide on what to serve us and we were so happy with the food. Big serving (refillable bread and rice!) and we left super full! Try their Pakistani milk tea too (not in photo though)
