This has got to be the biggest scam restaurant I have been to recently in my life. We went there seeing the 4.9 star review and learned the hard truth that these were definetly fabricated reviews or paid reviews. It is an insult to Pakistani food which is one of the best cuisines I have had.
The place where this restaurant is located was dingy and sketchy, but I have been to restaurants where the locations were little suspicious but the reviews were justified by the food This was truly an utter disaster.
The guy who was taking orders was sweet talking us to take some pre-set menu of their's on a per head basis but the options of the curries they offered were not too enticing and we had seen some 1 star reviews about this place , so we didn't order multiple dishes because we wanted to try the food before making a bigger order and the rate for the dishes were over priced based on what we have been eating at Honk Kong, so we ordered couple of dishes with garlic naan.
We are not people who complaint about portion size , but when a 150 HKD chicken curry came with 4 small cubes of chicken and a 150 HKD fish curry with 2 small piece of stale fish, it was shocking but the real scam was the 4 orders of garlic naan where he put chopped garlic and oil over some sort of pizza dough (we should have suspected pizza dough because when we asked how many pieces per naan, he said its like 4 pieces of pizza) which felt like microwaved because it was not cooked inside. Both curries were not prepared fresh for sure and even if the portion were microscopic, I would have forgiven them if it had tasted good , we couldn't even finish the curries and I don't even want to talk about the masala chai he upselled us on. We had upset stomach after the food here. All we could think about was running out from this restaurant.
I felt like apologizing to the people who rated 1 star for this place and not trusting them, everything they explained were the right situation there and the nasty responses from the manager to the truth, kind of explained the situation more to us.
And to the manager, dont waste your time giving a nasty response or saying that we tried to feed a million people with two curries as we were a group of 4 , I would suggest you to try good Pakistani food because you need some enlightening before getting hurt by the truth about your food and the scam you are running there. And the audacity of him to ask us to give him a 5 star review, made me feel that he was proud that he could make us pay for this absurd food and then sticked it to our face.
PS : don't bother inviting us back to try your food again like in all your nasty responses , we are not wasting our money and getting our stomach upset again. We have learned our lesson and hope this review will save people from...

Planning: đ€ We were looking for somewhere to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We had looked at lots of options, including hotels but decided to try Pakeeza Food Restaurant based on the reviews. As we arenât based in HK, a lot of the arrangements were made via WhatsApp and the manager, Mr Ilyas, communicated very promptly making the planning very easy.
Food: đ„ As we were a large group, we had a pre-arranged menu consisting of a tandoori mixed grill (with a lovely lamb chop) followed by a range of curries with roti - with plenty of water and mango lassi to wash it down. The food was delicious and everyone was full at the end of the evening. We were also permitted to bring some drinks with us (beer/wine) which they allowed us to keep cool in their fridges.
Ambience: đ Given our group of 16, they arranged a large table in their second room. Despite the very warm weather, the room has both A/C and fans, so felt very comfortable. We were very relaxed and appreciated not being rushed so everyone felt special and it was a perfect party atmosphere - and as it was a wedding anniversary, Mr Ilyas also introduced us to his chef (and wife) - a charming moment in our evening.
Conclusion: đ We had originally considered celebrating at one of the âfancierâ destination restaurants overlooking the HK skyline - especially for a silver wedding anniversary. But these places come with a lot of ârulesâ which probably donât suit a more mature crowd of GenXers. We decided to choose somewhere very differentâŠ..and it was definitely the right decision. There are some compromises - itâs well signposted but still a little tricky to find (watch out for the crowds around Jenny Bakery) and the building bathrooms arenât great (tip: bring tissues or better still, go somewhere else).
Over the years, I feel that Hong Kong has lost some of its once legendary reputation for outstanding service. Pakeeza doesnât pretend to be something it isnât - itâs honest and straightforward. People who are looking for that veneer of false sophistication wonât like it - go to the 5* places instead - but this place isnât for them either.
Mr Ilyas and his team evoke that golden era through their food, charm - and especially their sense of service and...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Pakeeza food restaurant in Mirador Mansion, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong, and it was truly a delightful experience! From the moment I stepped foot into the restaurant, I was greeted with a warm and friendly smile, setting the tone for an enjoyable meal.
The first thing that struck me about Pakeeza was the inviting ambiance. The restaurant had a cozy yet modern feel, with useful decor and comfortable seating arrangements. It provided a perfect setting for a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the food! The menu offered an extensive selection of dishes from Pakistani and Indian cuisine, and every dish I tried was an absolute delight. From their tender and flavorful kebabs to their aromatic biryanis and rich curries, each bite was a burst of authentic flavors that transported my taste buds to the subcontinent.
One dish that particularly stood out was the Beef Biryani. The fragrant long grain rice cooked to perfection, combined with succulent pieces of lean beef and an exquisite blend of spices made this dish truly memorable. The portions were generous, ensuring that even the heartiest appetites would be satisfied.
Aside from the delectable food, I must commend the staff at Pakeeza for their exceptional service. The waitstaff was attentive, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist with recommendations or any special requests. Their genuine enthusiasm and passion for ensuring a great dining experience were evident throughout my visit.
Lastly, I would like to mention the reasonable prices at Pakeeza. Considering the quality and portion sizes, I found the prices to be quite fair and reasonable, making it an excellent choice for both casual lunches and special occasions.
In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Pakeeza food restaurant to anyone looking for a taste of authentic Pakistani and Indian cuisine in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong. With their delicious food, warm hospitality, and inviting ambiance, Pakeeza is a true gem that will leave you satisfied and...
