I felt like I'd probably get nowhere fast when I looked up where to get a Reuben in Shanghai. I thought that even if I were to find one, that it would be on the wrong kind of bread, or that it wouldn't come with fries or worse, wouldn't include a pickle. Rest assured, Tock's relieved my every sandwich-related anxiety. The beef was flavorful without going really heavy on the salt, a common offense among Western restaurants in Asia. The menu was in English, and what you see in the picture I posted cost me ¥80, which at the time of writing equals about $12 or so, though I got water to drink (it included ice. Rare.) I would highly recommend anybody looking for a quick fix of some Western food try...

That was more than enough food for us.
Service is courteous and quick. The clientele seemed to be primarily westerners (Canadians?) who know what smoked...
Read moreA great relief after a week straight of Chinese food. Smoked duck club was great, and the poutine was better than I expected it to be. The service was a bit inattentive, but they speak English. The beer selection is good, and Canadien if your into that.
Definitely recommended and will come back next time I pass through Shanghai.
They also take western...
