I'm sitting in front of the dinning table writing this review in a mood of disappointment and frustration. Through the whole week of my trip, it is the worst dinning experience that I have ever had. At the start: I chose the set menu for two persons, including

  1. two glasses of red wine 2) beef tongue dipped in red wine sauce 3) mixed vegetables soup 4) codfish pancakes 5) western fried rice 6) Baked chicken in Portuguese style I asked what kind of red wine are the two glasses of red wine, the waitress replied "it's from Portugal." The answer basically didn't tell me anything regarding the year, the brand, and any other basic info for the bottle. I'm not an expert of wine, but at least I know to smell, see and sip it. It smelled pungent, without the aroma of grapes. While shaking the glass, nothing red remained on the glass. In addition, it tasted insanely sour and poignant. I highly doubt it is something from Portugal. For the soup, it's tomato sauce (-10%) mixed with water (~80%) and steamed vegetables. Dining:
  2. beef tongue dipped in red wine: beef tongues are sautéed (I think either not with red wine, or with too little red wine) covering 4 slices of cabbage. The softness of them is fine and acceptable.
  3. codfish pancakes: the color of the crispy skin should be golden, but it's dark. It shows that the oil for frying of the pancakes is not good. codfish are kneaded with a mixture of mashed potato and onions. I couldn't feel the taste of codfish very well.
  4. "western" fried rice: I think I'm running out of space so I'm glossing over it, but 1. I see no western in it; 2. I think the sausage is not real, there is a high percentage of starch.
  5. Baked chicken in Portuguese style: I taste a strong coconut smell from the first bite of the pieces of chicken. From my point of view, it should come to me gradually with a few more bites, not just rushing into me. The chicken pieces are not satisfying but ok, since they used the chest part, they contained a lot of bones. In addition, from the name of the baked chicken, I understand it should be baked with cheese (maybe?), but I didn't smell any of it. In the end: they charged me 10% of service fee (obligatory). With no patience, no question answered clearly, with a lot of attitude, and with the serving consisting of just adding water to my cup, I paid 419MOP (roughly 52 dollars) for this dinner. Trust me, if I can rate a zero at Google, I will. Not recommended to friends and...

We came here to eat after an issue with another restaurant forcing us to abandon our reservation there. The staff offered to carry my mother up the stairs in her wheelchair because there was no lift. Such a nice gesture. We ended up just walking very slowly up instead. We were pleasantly surprised by how friendly everyone was to us. Service was great. Helpful and attentive. Changed our plates a couple of times when it was full of shells or sauce. As much as we enjoyed the service, unfortunately the food was a bit disappointing. Fish was overcooked and quite tough to eat. Baked mussels were ok, a bit dry and bland. Pigeon was tender and tasty. The Portuguese chicken was decent tho the sauce was a bit more watery than usual and the salmon fried rice was better than expected. The best dish was probably the clams and the garlic bread. Desserts were all quite bland. We got the Serradura pudding, Tiramisu, creme caramel and Napoleon. I'd skip all these and grab some tarts elsewhere. Overall it is a good family restaurant. Not really authentic Portuguese food...more like catered to the Chinese crowds. Reminds me of the western restaurants in HK that's a mix of Hong Kong and Western culture. Not bad but wasn't hitting the mark for us. Overall it wasn't too expensive. Bill came...

I have always enjoyed this place. There are other choices, in Taipa and in Macau proper. But this place is large, clean and has good acoustics. And the service is good. So it is perfect for catching up with family and friends while enjoying a good meal. Plus it is a no brainer if you are staying at a Cotai hotel with free shuttle. They have all the standard stuff on their menu and they do them consistently well. One unique item is grilled eel. They do it really well, just the right amount of crispyness but still juicy. For my vegetarian friends, they have a curry vegie dish, fried rice and pasta. Just be sure to ask them to hold off on the garlic and onion,...

Is always a wonderful restaurant to go in Macao. I always come every time I go to Macao. There’re usually a lot of people in this restaurant I recommend either come here very early or a bit later like around 3 pm which usually fairly empty. I recommend I lot of foods in this restaurant like the grilled sardine, crispy pork knuckles and some slow cooked beef with vegetables, the soup is fine nothing special, the seafood fried rice is ok maybe a little wet but is acceptable just take as Yangzhou fried rice. Overall is worth to visit here when you’re near Rua Do Cunha and want some good thing to eat.

We went during the non peak hours about 3pm to have late lunch. The atmosphere is good, quiet and calm. Not sure about peak hours. The food is amazing and the service is awesome. We tried the cod fried croquettes, the portugese chicken and portugese fried rice. Also tried the Macau beer (sweeter) and Portugese beer (bitter). We enjoyed the lunch and would highly recommend whoever wanted to try portugese food in Macau. Would be better if go 3 to 4 pax, then can try more variety of food. Overall, satisfied :)

**Not recommended for team dining.** I'm not sure if this restaurant would be a good option to have dining(not recommend.). Spent almost 300 MOP per person, but there are lots of local restaurants serves better food with much lower prices. Also, my team experienced noticeable communication difficulties because the staff's English was very hard to understand(due to accent or pronunciation I guess), resulting (badly) unexpected food experience.
