Bogotá Beer Company — Restaurant in Bogota, Capital District

I have been to several BBC locations throughout Bogota and have never had a problem. On 12-8-2020 at approximately 230pm we arrived at the BBC location in Rosales in Bogota on Cra 5 #71 and was greeted by a server who said his name was Jon. He first informed us that we could not order a pitcher of beer with the purchase of an appetizer, he was pushing for us to buy a full meal. When i advised him i have been to the same location and others around Bogota and have never had a problem ordering an appetizer and a pitcher of beer, he said i could order it that way but i would also have to buy another meal. I advised him that the law due to the pandemic just stated we have to order something to eat and does not specify it has to be a full meal!!! I believe This is a bad practice and BBC is losing alot of business if this is their stand. I will never go back to a BBC while in Colombia, all other businesses allow you to purchase just an appetizer and a beer. BBC should retrain and should issue a public apology for trying to take advantage of the pandemic and force up selling on clients!...

Bogotá Beer Company is a craft brewery with multiple locations around Bogota. The beer is solid, and the food is just what you want when going out for a beer. Restrooms available and credit cards accepted... sometimes

I'd probably give this location 5 stars, but when it came time to pay, they only had one machine, so it took forever. Also, they mis-entered information, so my card was declined. When I called my bank, they said no one even tried to request payment and that everything was good with my account.

If you cannot process credit cards, you're going to miss...

Very good beer brewery. Colombian quality Beer.

Some Colombian friends took me to BBC to taste some of the national beers of this brawlers chain (you can find lots of them over the country).

You cans ask for samples to taste and they bring you small glasses before you go for one in particular.

The beer selection is not huge. But enough. A couple red, a couple Pilsner, one lager, one white beer and some IPA options too.
