I was in Bogota on business on 29 March, as a Piamontes/Venetian, I was following my tradition of having gnochi every 29th of the month, I had looked for an Italian restaurant near my hotel and was delighted to find this one. Upon arrival I was received with a mere head wave and told to take any seat, the place was not busy. I waited a pretty long time for a server to bring me a menu, and a much longer time to put my order in, simple gnochi with bolognese and a glass of red wine. I was never offered any variety of wines available by the glass. A few minutes later my server informed me that there weren't enough gnochi to make a portion, I was dissapointed, again was not offered an alternative, perhaps a half portion? and an appetizer, any suggestions on other pastas, I settled for penne with bolognese, the pasta was served within a couple of minutes, I should've known then that the quality was not going to be as expected, it was simply reheated pasta that had been sitting in a fridge already cooked, an absolute NO in Italian cuisine. To make matters worse it already had grated cheese on it, didn't even know what it was. My server naver came back to inquire about my food or offer more wine, I would've gladly had another. Here you can find different options to eat. This place is very beautiful, its decoration is fantastic, this place is perfect to celebrate special dates and for enjoy a delicious food. Being an Italian Restaurant, they are the best in making pastas and lasagnas with very good flavor. Also, they sell different cocktails. The attention is very good, the waiters are trained for service and are very kind, they recommend some dishes depending on what you want to try. I'm not a fan of pasta, but in this place I love it.
When I went the first time I ordered spaghetti carbonara, this dishes is pasta with bacon, cheese, onion, mushrooms and olive oil. The second time I ate a Ossobuco, it’s a delicious meat with red wine. For dessert you can order cakes, ice cream or coffee.
The price is fair according with the experience, I...

I had the "Mozzarella caliente" (Hot Mozzarella) as appetizer, more or less the traditional mozzarella served on top of fresh tomato slices and covered by basil sauce; I was expecting the traditional flavor but this one is a bit sweeter and the basil flavor stays longer, a nice surprise. Then, for main dish, "Spaghetti Frutti di Mare", as expected because of the name spaghetti with tomato sauce and seafood; kudos on the tomato sauce and the "al dente" texture for the spaghetti. Finally, Tiramisu, as usual in Colombia their own rendition of the traditional Italian dessert, very good but one step...
