Só many positive reviews, I really don't see why. I ordered chicha morada, to see if it reminds me of the delicious fermented chicha in Peru, a ceviche Fusion to see if the well elaborated Japanese dishes rmbrace the Peruvian sour dish, and risotto in ink with tentacle. Not sure from which fusion the risotto was born but when it's on the menu it draws my attention. The chicha, tastes sort of tamarindo Hibiscus'ish but definitely not like chicha morada, more like something instant from the supermarket. The ceviche had so much mayonnaise that no fish flavour was left. The overcooked risotto with chewy tentacle wasn't much love either.
The waiters don't seem interested, the place gives more of a fastfood vibe. An open kitchen but all you hear is the beeps of the microwave. I've had worse food, but given this was 198.000 cop for one person, some of the most expensive food I had in Colombia, it doesn't justify more...
Read moreI never plan to come this plan until I walked by accident. We came to this place twice. What attracted me to this place was the atmosphere. I noticed a lot people coming to this place and it is hard to find a table between 6pm and 8 pm. The location is modern with a rustic feeling. We ordered carpacho de carne in the two occasions; the first time it was a little bit sour, but the second time it was delicious. Carpacho is thin meat cooked with lime and they add grape tomatoes, cheese and basil. We also ordered sushi rolls and ceviche. I ordered the Volcano sushi roll and it was very good, but I was expecting something better. Maybe the Volcano sushi rolls were more sweet when I was expecting some more spicy. I really enjoyed El Ceviche Exotico since it was perfectly sour. Overall, it was great place and I...
It is a good place to eat sushi but the pricing seems to be a bit expensive for locals...it is a very nice idea to fusion Japanese food with Peruvian food, this fusion allows this place to have a very interesting menu. I believe that they could have better pricing for some of the dishes since many of the ingredients used are cheaper here in Colombia, as it is the case with avocados and sea food. Most of the prices are comparable to those found in major north...
