D'André Restaurante: A Must-Try for Bread and Breakfast Lovers! D'André Restaurante is a hidden gem that deserves all the praise it can get! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with the warm aroma of freshly baked bread and a friendly smile from the staff. What we loved:

The Bread: Oh, the bread! It's clear that they put a lot of love into their baking. Every loaf we tried was perfectly textured – crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. It was the perfect accompaniment to our meal.

The Breakfast: D'André offers a delightful array of breakfast options, each more tempting than the last. Whether you're craving classic eggs, something a bit more adventurous, or even just a pastry and coffee, you'll find something to satisfy your morning hunger.

The Friendly Service: The staff at D'André truly go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. They're attentive, helpful, and always ready with a smile. It's clear they care about their customers and want them to have a great experience.

The Tasty Food: Beyond the bread and breakfast, everything we tasted at D'André was delicious. The ingredients were fresh, the dishes were well-prepared, and the flavors were spot-on.

Overall: D'André Restaurante is a fantastic choice for a delicious and satisfying meal. Whether you're a local or just visiting, be sure to add this charming spot to your list! You won't be disappointed.

Recommendation: Go hungry and try their freshly baked bread! It's...

When I looked across the street at the sign of the restaurant it said “D’Andre” and there were two tables of black American tourists eating there, so in my mind I envisioned the owner and chef being an American black dude cooking some yummy American soul food.

I was wrong, the owner is a Colombian named Andres and the food is more lunch and breakfast oriented. But the food and service are very good and prices are reasonable for a Colombian standard.

I sat on the terrace which was shaded but had a nice breeze on a relatively hot December summer day.

They have Pepsi and not Coke which is a little annoying but the variety of breakfast fare including bagels and cream cheese as well as eggs is really nice. Also, for lunch they’ve got a special menu that includes a soup (vegetable soup) a salad (quinoa, tomato, avocado and mango) and a main dish. I went for the osso Bacco which was enormous quantity of meat. It could have been a tad softer but it obviously sat in the pot for hours and was very flavorful. The lunch also includes a juice and i went for the pineapple.

The main dish was accompanied by vegetables which was great but after the salad and the veggie soup I would have been Ok with just some rice.

Highly recommend this spot for lunch or breakfast or brunch or just to hang out for a few hours and enjoy their good WiFi. Also, they’ve got a tv so you can watch some soccer...

3 stars for the food only - great breakfast options. Minus 2 stars for a terrible service experience. I used to come here for breakfast and work all the time, and had the same nice waitress. One day I came in and had a different waitress, who was just generally miserable. At one point, while I went to the bathroom for 2 minutes, she came and threw away my coffee. There was about a quarter left in the cup, which maybe wasn’t a lot, but they still should not assume you’re done without asking. When I told her I was still drinking the coffee, she proceeded to argue with me that it was almost empty with the rudest attitude ever. No offer to bring even a small refill. It was so awkward and ridiculous that I asked her to just bring me another new cup of coffee, which I would pay for, to be done with her trying to argue about the one she threw away.

Instead of bringing the new cup as I asked, she proceeded to stand behind the counter giving me nasty looks and whispering to her coworker for the next 10 minutes. I didn’t even bother asking her again, just paid and left. I used to come multiple times a week, but since that incident, I...

This review is for their delivery service not for eating onsite. The food is ok, though for that price and their rating I expected way better quality. What really is a no-go is their packaging. This is by far the worst packaging I have ever seen in my life for a delivery order. Tons of plastic. Many huge plastic boxes with basically everything packed separately. The boxes are then wrapped again in a lot of plastic foil. Then all those boxes are again packed in a huge plastic bag. And that bag then again is put into another plastic bag. Seriously? It took me a couple of minutes to even unpack everything. Now I literally have a huge bag filled of waste after a small order. They obviously don't care about the environment at all. They are not even trying. There's so many other restaurants in the city who have way better and more eco-friendly solutions. I am willing to adjust this review if I get notice that they change their packaging. Otherwise I will never order here again. This restaurant should be ashamed.
