I like this layout better than the original one in Poblado..because its tucked away on a side street and you aren't getting hassled or receive an unsolicited concert every 5 minutes (Although there are times I do love that energy in Medellin)...but I still don't understand the hype for Pergamino overall...
Medellin doesn't offer many solid work-type cafes, so I guess this is the only one that gets credit? It does offer some good seating for work purposes w/ decent chairs, which Medellin lacks in most places.
I would really like this place if they had better wifi and better food (like I would probably go every day) but isn't that the reason we go to these places anyway? For such a big menu, I still haven't found a go to dish, especially for the prices. Today I paid almost 9 dollars for avocado toast. was a 3/10. Also the vibe is sometimes on the louder side. Good luck getting any calls done here.
The service is decent, and the workers seem generally happy for the most part, at least my experience.
Coffee is obviously their strong suit.. I buy their coffee to make at home. Also, its a great gift to bring it to my family when I go home, and they love it.
But ya, food is lacking. I think they need to revamp the entire menu honestly. And WiFi sometimes goes off and is a pain to...

Food: So many delicious choices, good price, great portions, and variety. I eat here a lot and never get bored of it 😁
Atmosphere: Unlike other places, this place is always filled with people. I can see why. It is a relaxing place, accommodating for work or chatting. It has an upper floor as well as a portion that is underneath the trees.
Service: FAST. The line to order may take a bit. But they hand you a number and they'll take your food to you. You can save a lot of time vs going to a normal restaurant. The staff comes around frequently to deliver food and take away empty plates. They have a lot of staff workers.
Coffee: Pretty good! But I'm not the best judge, so that you'll have to experiment on your own.
They have menus in English and Spanish. If you don't speak English, you can probably just point to the item on the English menu and be good. Or, use a translator app?
Bonus: There is a glass jug of water with glass cups, FOR FREE! In every other place I've been, you have to pay for water (by ordering a Water Bottle). So refreshing that...
Read moreThe place is good, but has plenty of room for improvement. Here’s my 2 cents… Pros 👍🏼 Very friendly and knowledgeable staff Plenty of seats, so it’s unlikely you won’t find a spot. Enough power outlets too. One of the most amazing avocado toasts I’ve ever had (I ordered without the feta) Lovely coffee Cons 👎🏼 Very slow wifi (I tested a few times) Hardly any healthy options to eat, especially if you don’t want to eat bread Only 1 kind of smoothie Outdated interior… feels like you’re in the 80s. Also no really comfy chairs.
I came a few times and they said they no longer have the smoothie granola bowl, only the yoghurt granola bowl. Yet they do offer a portion of fruit on the menu, as well as the smoothie… So why did I have to tell them to combine the fruit + the smoothie + the granola in order to get a smoothie granola bowl? 🤷🏻♂️ puzzling…
And personally I don’t like it when you order at the cashier, pay by card and they ask if you want to include tips. For what, tapping a few times on a screen?
Again, overall I have enjoyed coming here but would only give 5 stars if some of the shortcomings are addressed, especially...
