This restaurant is seriously awesome. If you are in Monteverde, NOW!
First off the view of the pacific is spectacular and the design of the restaurant is so unique. I man they have fricken trees growing up through the second flood. SO COOL! The food is all delicious, I got the apricot chicken, highly recommend. My girlfriend and I also split like 4 plates of jalapeno poppers, our guilty pleasure and didn't expect to find them here.
Second, the owner is the coolest guy ever. I went up to ask a question about my bill, accidentally didn't use happy hour prices I think. The owner had a plate of ceviche that I commented on, "looks good! What is it? When I told him I'd never had it he said I had to try it, and just gave me the plate to take. Never would have expected that, it was such an awesome surprise!!!
Third, get here early if you want a seat on the deck and get their happy hour prices . Drinks and apps are half off. I think my girlfriend and I arrived at 4:30 right when they opened and sat inside, after a little while people started drifting in and within 20min the porch was filled up and we had to quickly move outside to make sure we didn't...

I've been many times now, from the first location to the current beauty, and I know the owner to be the kind of guy who will do whatever he can to ensure your stay is a pleasant one. From his impeccable taste to the hard work of his staff, what you get is a delightful combination of comfort food and fine dining. Every dish has been tasty and on point. Take note, in every section of the menu, there were options with chicken, beef, pork, fish, and the ever tasty vegetarian options. None of those options disappointed.
Next up, the drinks are absolutely splendid! I got the caipirinha done house style and loved it! The white morpho is another tasty treat! And for the wine lovers, the rioja I had whilst dining there last was on par with the rest of the dining experience.
Upstairs is quieter but retains the view. Downstairs you're in the middle of the ambiance. Out on the balcony/deck you can feel the fresh breezes and watch sunsets.
Don't miss out on this gem! It's where I spent nearly half my...
Read moreThe guy who mentioned the beef tenderloin being the best food he had in a long time had was definitely lying. Not like I need to say this but they closed at 9:15pm and we came in at 830 they told us they were open so we proceeded to sit. I ordered the beef tenderloin medium and the first time it was brought out it was rare. I sent the tenderloin back and the second time it seemed to be cooked well but had virtually zero flavor was was not very tender. My cousin ordered the Pesto Pasta and had very strong oil flavor and light pesto which I would say was a 3/10 on flavor. Next my brother ordered the 40 dollar steak (price was definitely well above what they gave) it came undercooked, I see a trend, we sent it back. We received the steak for the second time and it was still undercooked and very light flavor either from the cut or from the cooking. If you want a view and drinks this might be the spot for you. If you want food. I would...
