Customer beware. Me and my wife came to this restaurant because we have loved the typical Costa Rican food throughout our travels and wanted to try a local restaurant. We spent $7,500 on what we thought were 6 dishes, but instead they were these 6 very very tiny tortillas with different protein of choice. Definitely not worth the $. We realized after looking at the reviews that the meal was supposed to come with other side dishes and we were never given that.

Worst part of all - When we went up to pay for a bill that should have cost €11,500 CRC, she put €14,000 in the machine for me to tap and hid the screen. I leaned over it to look and noticed she was trying to overcharge. I called her out and she started messaging somebody, and then finally cancelled the transaction and put in the correct price and I paid. Oh. my. gosh! We travel a lot and love finding authentic food wherever we go. We ALMOST went to another spot when I randomly came across this one on Google. We ordered 2 specialty dishes and a soup, and to be honest the dishes are smaller in size as we expected it to be. Food was delicious, but note that the pork belly from the chifrijo was cooked through deep fry instead of through stew; and there were some uncleaned pork furs left on the skin... Yet meat soup with white beans was nice.
