El Ranchito — Restaurant in Quepos

My family and I are staying here in Manuel Antonio and we searched “restaurants near me” and this was one of the first ones to pop up. It was only 9 minutes from where we were staying and we were excited to get out after it pouring all day. We were greeted by Karen and Maggie who were absolutely amazing! My mom and I visited here on our first trip to Costa Rica this week. This is a must stop place on your way in and out of Manuel Antonio park or beach. Miss Maggie was so kind, patient and helpful during our time and made sure we were well taken care of. Mr Heyner was informative and such a pleasant person to talk to as well. The food was incredible, everything was delicious from the Buffalo chicken burger to the Chifrijo and the amazing Lemonade mint drink. I wish I lived here just for this restaurant! Food was okay and overpriced for what it was. Drinks were cheap but not worth the visit. This was the most expensive meal we've had in Costa Rica and definitely was not the tastiest; all the food seemed and tasted old/stale. Fish was super fishy tasting and fried food was in old oil.
