Even though limited in space, the tables are set apart far enough to create an intimate atmosphere. You can see somebody took their time and paid attention to all the little details when furnishing it, adding to that great atmosphere. Live piano music during dinner takes it to the next level.
The food itself was delicious and the restaurant offers dishes with meat from traditional Istrian cattle breed, boskarin, as well as truffles and other istrian delicacies. We focused on those this time around but will explore the menu further over time. The portions are generous and the pricing very reasonable considering the dishes and the location.

We walked into the restaurant at Croatia’s dinner peak hour of 8pm and was told it was a nite with live piano and hence all tables were reserved. Nonetheless the waiter was very apologetic and hubby suggested to enquire about take away. While they kindly indulge in our request, the friendly waiter told us their guests were actually 15 mins late and he will check if they are gonna make it, else we can have the table. And… the rest is history.
