When in Zagreb do not miss the chance to visit this Japanese restaurant! The food is incredibly authentic, with each dish bursting with flavor and freshness. From sushi to ramen, every bite transports me to Tokyo. The service is top-notch – friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable staff make you feel like a regular, even on your first visit.

The cozy atmosphere is perfect for any occasion. Whether you're meeting friends, on a romantic date, or grabbing a late-night bite with colleagues, this spot fits the bill. And the best part? They're open late on Sundays, so you can satisfy those weekend cravings.

The attention to detail is impressive, from traditional decor to expertly prepared dishes. It's clear the chefs and staff are passionate about sharing Japanese culture with the community.

Whether you're a Japanophile like me or just looking for great food and company, this restaurant is a must-visit. The combination of delicious food, wonderful service, and welcoming atmosphere makes it perfect for any occasion. Don't miss out on the late-night Sunday eats – you won't regret it! Highly recommended for friends, dates, or work gatherings. Five stars isn't enough – I'd give it ten stars...

During our trip to Croatia, my family of four wanted a change from the typical Croatian cuisine, so we decided to try Nomu, a Japanese fusion restaurant located in Old Town Zadar. We weren’t disappointed!

The food we ordered rivaled the sushi we get back in Seattle, which is saying a lot given Seattle’s renowned sushi scene. Each dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The fusion of Japanese and local ingredients created a unique and delightful dining experience.

The service provided by Jurica was top-notch. He was attentive, friendly, and ensured that every aspect of our meal was perfect. His recommendations were excellent and he made us feel very welcome.

The restaurant’s location in Old Town Zadar adds to its charm, blending the historic surroundings with a modern, elegant interior. The ambiance was inviting and added to our overall enjoyment of the meal.

We were so impressed with Nomu that we will definitely be back before the end of our trip to Croatia. If you’re in Zadar and looking for a change in cuisine from most restaurants in Croatia, Nomu is...

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would.

After a decade spent in Asia, primarily Japan and China, I have to say this is the BEST Japanese fusion food I've ever had.

Each bite is exquisitely designed, and a touch of mediterranean flavours blends with classic Japanese dishes surprisingly well.

We ordered dumplings with chicken, beef gyoza, and a Nomu platter for two. Each dish was delicious! The combo of maki, rolls and sashimi with a sprinkle of lime was wonderful. Once done, we were already full, but then our curiosity got the best of us, so we ordered another round of food :)

The tuna tartare with avocado and coriander infusion was incredible. The takoyaki balls with béchamel sauce were fully rounded: crunchy, creamy and delicate.

Plus, the atmosphere was relaxed, the staff knowledgeable and friendly.

We will be back every soon. There was no room for...

After reading few articles about best sushi in Zadar, my girlfriend amd I came up with a simple conclusion, restaurant NOMU. For sure, we made a right decision. Everything was perfect, from the atmosphere to the food and service. We tried several different wines (they offer 300 different wines by the glass) and several types of sushi. However, the reason why we will not give any other sushi restaurant a chance and why we will always return is the waiter Stojan from Macedonia. Biggest compliments to him and thanks for making our stay at the restaurant so enjoyable. Suffice it to say that we came right on the second day after our first visit. See you again Stojan!
