Meat & Bone Steakhouse — Restaurant in okres Karlovy Vary

First off, when you go to Google Maps, don't put in the name of this restaurant... you won't find it. Put in the bane of the hotel, it is inside of Pupp Quisisana Depandance. You would think they would put a sign outside to make it easy for foreigners who aren't from there to find it. 😏 On to the food, they give you some bread and a medallion of homemade butter. The butter is very smoky and delicious. For our starter, we did the burrata. It was ok. There was some sort of gazpacho tasting sauce below the burrata, it was just ok. For the main course, we ordered ribeyes, shrimp, truffle fries, and the potato puree. One ribeye came out medium, and mine came out well done, although I asked for medium. The shrimp and steaks were warm but not hot, so the food got cold quickly. My steak was VERY chewy! The shrimp weren't devailed very well. The truffle fries were soggy and cold. And I have to mention the olive oil and balsamic vinegarette bottles look nice, but are terrible when pouring. There is no way to not make a mess when pouring. The oil comes out along the bottle. They need to either add spouts or change the bottle altogether. I would not come to...

If you are looking for some better food in Karlovy Vary, this should be on your list. This steakhouse provides some beautiful dry-aged steaks and they are more than capable of cooking them to your liking. I had medium-rare rib-eye steak and it was just perfect. Beautifully tender with outstanding flavor. For the side dish I had smoked potato puree. Really strong smoke flavor and smooth puree. Nothing to complain about. I am a lover of truffles and I am more than pleased with the items containing truffles. We tried french fries with truffles. They were amazing although they could have been a little bit more crunchy. We tried the wagyu burger as well and I think it was A3. So, not as juicy as A5 would be, but delicious still. It also had truffle mayo in it, which gets plus points in my book. They not only have the best steaks in town, but also some amazing desserts. They were quite a piece of art and tasted even more amazing. I'm very happy with everything here. When the first thing you see upon entry is a case full of aged beef, you just know that you found your happy place. We spent a hefty amount on dinner and drinks here but you could eat here much cheaper then we did, but this was our vacation and we had no limits, lol.
