29 of July 2021: Really beautiful place, amazing service, perfect English as well, the coffee tastes sour but I had the best baguette caprese ever.
The 3d of August 2021: Loved it.
The 30th of march (2022) : I went there and the coffee was sour. I don't know if it's the variety of coffee that tastes like this or if the problem is somewhere else. I had a cappuccino and it was not good due to the strong sourness of the coffee taste. Then I asked for a palačinky without gluten and it was basically an omelette. I wanted it served with mapple syrup but it was very watery. Mapple syrup (I mean real one) is more compact and taste not like this industrial sugar syrup that is probably full of added mapple syrup aroma. I'm happy my friend paid because I don't like to pay for food that doesn't taste. As my experience was good beforehand, I'll really hope that I was unlucky.
However the toilets are very clean and I really like the floor tiles.
The service is mostly made of a mix of English and Czech because they constantly forget that you don't speak Czech. Not the best way to get you to become a regular customer.
I did have a good start but as usual in the beginning everything is great and...
Read moreI recently visited this café located right near the cathedral in the center of Pilsen, and I really liked the atmosphere. It's a spacious place with a nice outdoor terrace that feels like a cozy inner courtyard. Especially now that the weather is so hot, it's a great spot there's plenty of shade and it stays pretty cool.
What I also appreciated is that it's family friendly: there's a sandbox area where kids can play, and dogs are welcome too, which is always a plus. The overall vibe was relaxed and pleasant a good place to take a break or meet up with friends.
As for the food... well, it was just okay. Nothing special, but the place itself makes up for it.
Would I go back? Yes, mainly for the location and the chill...
