green gondola - Hotel Restaurant Wellness Gondola — Hotel in okres Plzeň-město

This hotel is definitely worth recommending as it offers very good quality in relation to the price and is located in the strict center of Pilzen right at the river||However for the time being the location appears to be the biggest disadvantage as it is almost not reachable by car due to the ongoing road construction .||They are building tram tracks around the hotel and basically all the streets are banned from entering so to get to the hotel I had to break the rules and pass throug anyway. That's not nice because I'm not sure if the police would be interested in the fact I had to cross to get to the hotel and for my car itself it was also quite risky as street is very much distroyed for the time being.||Its a pity there is no info about this on the hotel web page but I need to say that at least english version was not updated for quite a long time as recent news are dated 2010||However, getting to the hotel everything is much better as only you enter the door.||The personell is nice and friendly, the rooms are big,clean and well arranged, the bathroom is really well equipped with cosmetics and neccessary travel sets.||They provide extraordinary room cleaning service, I must say a special thank you to the cleaning lady , she makes really perfect job, taking care about every single detail it is very unusual nowadays. Thank you||Another great highlight of this hotel is the restaurant- it's really outstanding ||Czech cuisine is not considered the best in Europe but thanks to this restaurant it gets a totally different positive perspective||The menu is quite short but offering very good combination of taste and flavours||I tried beef on the first day and it was very good and on my second day I had a salmon which was a real masterpiece. I think it was the best salmon I have ever had!||It was served on the pure of paptatos but it was crunchy at the top and accompanied with a kind of sause which was perfect match. Wasabi drop was giving a bit spicy twist but even without it it was simply perfect.||The waitress was very helpful and professional, she gave explanation about the dishes and was asking if everything is good during my stay.||There is good climate in the restaurant, the place looks cozy , there are fresh flowers on the tables and it' s nice decorated despite the artificial lilies which are destroying the good style of the place a little bit. They simply look very artificial,cheap and chinese it could be probably better without them but of course it's a matter of own taste.||I appreciated the breakfast in the morning as well. There is a'la carte choice of eggs, omelette and others and all is prepared fresh and served to the table.||There is also very good home made yogurt and a machine for making a fresh orange juice.||Very nice! It's a pity that it was offered only on my first day and on the second one not because there was no waitress at the time I was having my breakfast and I couldn't wait more then 20 min so I used only the buffet option but it's ok||Wifi is avalaible in the whole hotel and the parking is free of charge||I like this hotel very much and I think I will come back as only the streets are...

Nerada říkám, že někomu dávám zlé recenze. V tomto případě tomu tak ani nebude, ale spíš co chci dát, tak to je doporučení ke zlepšení. Měli jsme v Gondole posvatební hostinu. Lidí jsem neměla moc, kolem 20, takže žádné velké obštrukce v porovnáním s dnešními hojnými svatbami. Svatební hostinu, organizace a vše jsem řešila s paní manažerkou již v lednu, abych měla nějaký předstih a možnost ještě cokoliv vyladit a zlepšit. Kromě lednové schůzky pak proběhla ještě jedna další v červnu, kdy jsme si už víceméně ujasňovaly zasedací pořádek, jídelníček aj. Bylo mi sděleno, že mi poté budou zaslány údaje k platbě zálohy, s čímž jsem samozřejmě počítala. Chtěla jsem to mít z krku , protože jsem věděla, že léto bude hektické , takže jsme to chtěli mít sicher. Paní manažerka nám sdělila, že pozici po ní bude přebírat kolega , který v tu dobu pracoval i v restauraci. Když jsem se pak na začátku srpna potkala s kolegou, víceméně jsme si ujasnili informace , i když jsem si říkala , jestli si teda alespoň paní manažerka i její nástupce předali nějaké informace . Vypadalo to, že spíš ne. Takže jsme si vše ještě jednou projeli. Ale zase chápu , jistota je jistota. Pana manažera jsem poprosila o zaslání předběžné kalkulace. Eventuálně k údaje k zaplacení zálohy. Přičemž v dokumentu bylo uvedeno bez zálohy. Kontaktovala jsem opětovné pana manažera, jak je to s touto platbou zálohy , na což mi sdělil , že pokud bych tedy zálohu mohla donést , jen, že on bude na dovolené , tudíž ji nechat paní vedoucí. To už jsem byla trošku nervózní, ale říkám , klid.

Když jsme den před svatbou připravovali dekor, vypadalo to, že o nás v restauraci nikdo nevěděl. O tom, že jsme si salonek museli uklízet a utírat stoly , nemluvím. Jediný , co z úst paní přítomné manažerky bylo sděleno směrem k personálu, bylo to,,proč to není připraveno ,, , ale přišlo mi, že za tuto situaci personál nemohl. Jen se bohužel nepředaly informace. Myslím, že obecně že strany obsluhujícího personálu jsme si nemohli stěžovat , děvčata byla milá a vstřícná. Co se týče úklidu , bylo nám sděleno, že není potřeba stoly uklízet , ,,protože přes ně půjdou ubrusy,,. No, vzhledem k tomu , že jsme měli den před svatbou , jsme se už asi ničím vzrušovat nechtěli a chtěla jsem se držet toho, že nevěsta by měla zůstat v klidu . 😃

V den svatby jsme do Gondoly přijeli o cca půl hodiny dříve. Ano, je pravda , že jsme měli napsaný čas, který byl odhadem . Focení zabere vždy nějakou dobu . Čekaly jsme pár minut na paní manažerku, která v hotelu nebyla ještě. Proti čemuž nic nenamítam,pokud je vše připraveno. Chápu, kdybychom přijeli ve 14h, .. ale tady to byla otázka cca čtvrt - půl hodiny . Bylo nám ze strany paní manažerky vyjádření přivítání , nicméně pasivně agresivní formou bylo dodáno , že jsme přijeli dřív .

V zákaznických službách já sama už působím nějakou dobu a ač vím , že i zákazníci umí některými věcmi potrápit, tak mám pocit, že tady nenastalo z naší strany tak velké pochybení. Ale spíš k tomu byl zauut liknavý a uhybavě agresivní přístup . Na čem bych tedy určitě zapracovala , je více komunikace a zlepšení jejího toku mezi kolegy. Také bych pro budoucí akce zajistila větší pořádek v prostorách. Ne že budu nacházet ještě provázky od balónků z předchozí akce a neutřené stoly.

Posvatební hostina se i tak nesla v příjemném duchu a pokud Gondola tyhle procesy zlepší , bude určitě ještě víc vyhledávanou pro...
