This inn has an excellent location on the Charles Bridge and is close to public transportation for catching the tram/buses to go to the Castle or the main train station.||I stayed on the 2nd floor (3rd floor if you count the ground floor as the 1st floor). I knew there was not a lift when I booked my reservation. I had a carry-on size suitcase and had no issues getting it up or down the stairs. ||The room was a great size and had a good layout with a small hall leading to the bathroom. The hall had a coat rack which I found invaluable. I chose not to pay extra for a tower view room and my view was of a rooftop - which was fine. I got what I paid for and I was in the room to sleep.||As others have stated, the room was dark. Even with every light and lamp on, I did not have enough light to read at night. The lamp beside my bed was so low in height, it did not help. During the day with the curtains open and all the lights on, I could read fine. This only caused an issue once, as most of the time I was on my phone and the light did not make a difference. The house was built in 1597, so they are probably working with what they have.||The only other quibble I had about the room was the smell in the bathroom, which was stronger some days than others. Also, every time I went in the bathroom, I became congested. Not sure what that was about. ||Even with the light and bathroom smell, I would stay again.||The breakfast was superb! It had a great variety and the food was tasty. ||This is a great inn/hotel with an incredible location. It has a few quirks, but if you know ahead of time, then forewarned...
Read moreCosy traditional hotel in a fantastic central location, perfect for exploring the city on foot. The building has plenty of character and charm, with a warm, welcoming feel throughout. Rooms are quaint and comfortable, decorated in a classic style that suits the overall atmosphere of the place. Ours was cleaned daily to a high standard, and we found everything we needed for a short city break.||The breakfast was decent, with a good variety of options to suit different tastes. Fresh pastries, fruit, eggs, and cold cuts were available, along with coffee and tea. Nothing overly fancy, but certainly enough to start the day well.||What really stands out is the location — everything from shops and restaurants to major sights was just a short walk away. Despite being so central, the hotel was surprisingly quiet at night, allowing for a restful sleep.||We didn’t use many of the hotel’s additional services, but for our needs it was a comfortable and convenient base. The traditional charm combined with a prime location made it great value for money.||If you’re looking for a charming, affordable place with a touch of local character, this hotel is a solid choice. Read moreWe absolutely loved this hotel!|Situated right next to the gate to Charles Bridge on Mala Strana side, it was pretty easy go find. They didn’t have private parking but we managed to find a spot only 20 m away, charging around 30 euros per day.|We were expecting to be in one of the rooms that are presented on the web site, traditional and refurbished but they put us in a new part of the hotel, just around the corner, next to Judita bistro. And this new part is sooo amazing, everything renovated with such taste, super clean and absolutely wonderful! |The name of the suite is Judita 58, just so you know. Rooms are cleaned, towels changed and coffee capsules restocked every day. Breakfast was good, continental style and we had it in the old part of the hotel (that’s where the reception is). Staff was polite although not too talkative. Everything is so close, the location perfect for walking explorers of Praha. |We would recommend it to everyone and we’ll be coming back right here next time we visit this beautiful city |Dekuje, U...
