Chose this restaurant for the riverside view, upon arrival was asked if we’d be eating or just drinks. We say drinks. They then seated us in the crappiest seat they had to offer, cramping everyone under a shelter. Realising we may have to order food if we wanted the riverside view, we ordered food and they still refused to reseat us despite there being multiple tables not in use with a riverside view. The service was awful, waitress glares at you, tuts in your face, rolls her eyes and practically throws the food at you. So so over priced and really bad quality, and unwelcoming atmosphere.

The place is nice, the food is ok (but expensive) AND you can't pay by card (you find this out when you pay). We had to take money out of an ATM "they have right outside" and they charge you a 150 czk fee. So at the end we end up paying about 44 euros for 2 sandwiches and a couple of coffees. A complete rip off. We asked if there was a sign saying "only cash" or something and the waitress pointed a sign in Czech 🤷. Not a bad place but be prepared. We knew it was gonna be expensive but the no card part felt they were taking advantage of us.

The best steak I had in Prague was here! The meat was very tender and juicy, Restaurant has a superb location right below Charles Bridge and offers a fantastic view!I loved enjoying small sips of Czech beers!Employees were friendly and polite!Daniel was brilliant and he speaks English very fluent! However I gotta be honest, Prices are little high and I think providing a wifi can contribute this place!Nevertheless I would return there in my next trip!

This was a most disappointing visit. The location and atmosphere is almost perfect. Our hotel was right across the canal and would’ve been a hotspot for us and the people traveling with us for the several days we spent in Prague. Unfortunately, due to the service and the attitude of everyone associated with the restaurant; from the host, to the two people who served us, it was extremely disappointing.

They had things on the menu that when we asked to order, they said they were not serving. Not serving? Odd. When we went to pay our bill, and they said they only accept cash, they were extremely rude. Others on these reviews say it is states that when you walk in. That is not accurate. It doesn’t say. CASH ONLY. It says they accept Euro and local currency. They should explicitly say CASH ONLY - NO CARDS. Again, that was not the biggest problem. It was the attitude of the host who greeted us and the two people serving us. A VERY UNWELCOMING attitude. We went a little further into the platz area under the bridge and had a WONDERFUL experience for the remainder of our visit. And will be providing a review of that lovely restaurant and...

Unfortunately it started raining and against my better judgement my husband and I stopped in without looking at the reviews only to get out of the rain. Like many others have already noted, this place lives off tourist traffic and has otherwise absolutely nothing special to offer. You could probably get better food and service from a gas station, no joke! Speaking of service, that was atrocious. This place gets a strong "avoid like the plague" from me. The acceptance of cash only is the cherry on top of this $h!+ sandwich, sorry to say. So many better places a stone's throw away. Such a pity to have wasted our time and money here. I'm leaving one star only because the fries and the sauce from my husband's main were good, but you can't really mess up fries. Unfortunately half my husband's meal was white bread that they passed off as "dumplings", while the best part of the meal (the sauce and meat) was an extremely small portion. It was all massively overpriced for the mediocre...

Too bad I can’t give a 0. The food and drinks were below average. The worst part of this restaurant is the service. I have never experienced such disrespect anywhere else. The attitude was due to the fact that I don’t speak Czech! The waitress was rude, unfriendly, and when we asked to combine our bill with some of our friends, she rolled her eyes and clicked her tongue — as if we’d asked her to do something disgusting or completely out of line. The manager was just as rude as the waitress. He even said that he speaks only one language — the language of money.

You can’t even pay by card in this place! What year are they stuck in?

Never again. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone — awful establishment with absurdly terrible service!

P.S. There’s an ATM next to the place where you can withdraw cash with a...
