It was a perfect stay for us at this 4* hotel in Prague. I’d booked a Superior Triple Room for our family of three using an online site. My criteria for a hotel for 1 day / 1 night stay was proximity to the main sightseeing attractions in Prague and availability of breakfast with the accommodation in my budget. I am glad I chose this wonderful hotel as it exceeded all our expectations.||We reached the hotel around 8 in the morning by cab from the bus station. After carrying our luggage up a flight of 8-10 steps, we were at the reception. Reception is a small space where a smart person was sitting behind the reception desk and he welcomed us warmly. As per prior chat many days ago with the hotel staff member Bilguun, we were told that early check in would be possible subject to availability. After the smooth check in, the gentleman at the reception, Tomas, let us know that our room was ready and that we could move in. To our pleasant surprise, Tomas informed us that there were no extra charges to be paid for the early check in. We put our luggage in the elevator and moved to the 2nd floor.||The hotel corridors are wide and we pulled our luggage comfortably to one end of the corridor. When we opened the door, we were again pleasantly surprised to find quite a big sized room where the extra sofa cum bed was already opened and laid out and on the dressing table was a hand written note from the CEO & Owner welcoming us. That was a really nice touch of hospitality and it showed that the hotel really cared for us to have a pleasant stay. We relaxed for a bit on the bed and then started to get ready to head out for a day of sightseeing.||The room was equipped with two single beds joined together to form a double bed, side tables with reading lamps, a small LED TV, dressing table with a tower of charging points and a lamp, electric kettle with tea/coffee pouches, a chair, cupboard with hangers and shelves, a safe and a rack for the luggage, ample space in the room for the luggage and moving about, a full length mirror and umbrellas for use. Being a corner room, there were huge windows on two sides of the room. One side had a partial view of one of the towers of the Charles Bridge and the roofs of the building before it. We didn’t realise at that time that we were less that 5 minutes walking distance from the famous bridge.||The bathroom was also of large size with a feel of old world charm and a modern shower cubicle. The towels were neatly rolled and kept on a wooden rack with three shelves and looked pretty classy. There was a hair dryer provided along with the necessary toiletries. We all washed off our exhaustion from the overnight bus journey and got ready to head out.||While my family was getting ready, I went downstairs to the reception to inquire the charges for the breakfast if we decided to have it in the hotel. Tomas offered us to have the breakfast in the hotel without any charges that morning. It was a big surprise and a huge convenience since we were spared the headache of finding a place to have a good breakfast in a completely new city and since we were in Prague for only a day, every hour mattered. I couldn’t thank him more and immediately asked my family to come downstairs to the floor below the reception where the breakfast hall is located since less an hour was left until it closed. ||The breakfast hall is of good size with comfortable furniture and interesting décor with books and prints on the wall of the city’s landmarks. A single lady was managing the affairs and she was experienced and sweet. The breakfast was sumptuous with a lot of variety of cheese, sausages, salamis, fresh fruits, cereals, juices, tea and coffee, even wines, doughnut, pastries, wafers, waffles, yogurts, dry fruits, porridge, breads, rolls, egg preparations and a few other hot items. We enjoyed having breakfast there and it remains the most memorable kind in all the travels throughout Europe this time.||The hotel surrounding is perfect, with the Charles Bridge nearby and the other attractions, like the palace at a walking distance. The only challenge we faced was when we were waiting for the cab to turn up on the morning after we’d checked out and it took the driver a lot of time to come to the front of the hotel. We reached the bus station just a couple of minutes before our bus to another country departed. Unfortunately, the bus wasn’t late in departing and we still wonder what we would have had to do if the cab driver was late even a few more minutes. Please make sure you keep ample amount of time if you’re depending on a cab. ||The checkout was smooth and the person at the reception returned our security deposit in cash. Both Bilguun and Tomas are doing a great job and a lot of credit goes to their pleasant behavior that our stay at the hotel was memorable. We wish we could have spent more days in the gorgeous...

Read moreExcellent stay, no complaints. When arriving we were in the tricky position of arriving late night after reception closed, we received a response over then interphone in a quick time for that time of night. The rooms were incredibly comfortable, homelike and cozy and the sleep was the best I had on my trip through central Europe. The reception staff were very helpful, with one of them recommending a legitimate cash exchange that isn't a tourist trap and telling us how to get transport tickets. On our last day after check out the staff let us keep our luggage in the hotel as we had a late night flight and we didn't want to carry our luggage all throughout the city. The breakfast was excellent, especially the waffle maker, something that I have never seen before in a hotel. The location is brilliant, a stones throw away from a nice park and really close to the Karluv most. However I have spotted three downsides which may affect others depending on their stay (but they didn't really affect me) The hotel isn't close to any regular stores/shops meaning that those wanting to purchase their own food to save money will have a decent commute. The wifi seemed to have issues from 10am to some point during the day (I don't know exactly as it would be fine by the time I returned) Shower isn't ideal size (not too small but wouldn't mind it being bigger)
Despite this the stay was brilliant and I...
