BIG DISAPPOINTMENT Unfortunately I have to show my dissatisfaction about service at Sky Bar and Lounge - Cloud 9. My and my friends were at Cloud 9 Bar in March to celebrate special occassion - my fiance 30th birthday. To make the reservation I had to fulfill the survey - who is the booking for, who I come with, there were questions about special occasions, reservation notes etc. I clearly pointed in the reservation form that we are comming with friends to celebrate 30th birthday of my fiance. I was sure there will be some special surprise from this occasion prepared (free surprise from the bar&lounge or I was also prepared to pay extra for something special but nobody contacted me in this matter earlier or when we came). When we came, the table was waiting for us, nobody was asking anything. I was sure there is something prepared (there were no questions). After 2 hours I started to get impatient about the surprise for birthday (I was sure something will be prepared, because they ask for the special occasions in the survey) and suddenly there was "happy birthday" playing from the speakers and waiter was bringing some gift. We were sure with friends this is finally the surprise we were waiting for. Unfortunately it was FOR THE TABLE NEXT TO US because the man who was sitting there also had birthday! Just imagine what was our, and especially my fiance, surprise. After this we were super dissappointed. It seems that Cloud 9 Sky Bar & Lounge Team is using double standards - differrent for the hotel guests and differrent for people who don't sleep at the hotel. We were simply disgusted by this situation. I informed the staff about this situation and shortly after we left the place because we weren't even offered anything to compensate this situation. I don't think this is standard which should be offered by the...

The location itself is beautiful, with a stunning view over Prague and the Vltava River.
The first impression was a forced friendliness, combined with some waitstaff who seemed uninterested in their job.
We ordered sushi first and about 20 minutes later, two burgers. The burgers arrived at the table after about 50 minutes, but no sushi, even though it was ordered 20 minutes before the burgers. Presumably, they had to fly in fresh sushi from the sea, or maybe they just forgot the first order? After we pointed this out, the sushi finally arrived at the table 75 minutes later. The burgers were below average, but the sushi was very good.
The drinks were delivered incorrectly four times in total (Coke instead of Coke Zero). On the plus side, the terrace is top-notch. If you’re not afraid of spiders, you'll feel very comfortable here. The webs are visible on every light fixture.
We decided to give them another chance the next day. The Pina Colada wouldn't even pass as a cocktail in an all-inclusive hotel. It was just foamed milk with a bit of crushed ice and a coconut flavor. And despite leaving a generous tip (which they didn't really deserve), we didn't even get a thank you or a goodbye in return. We tried our luck at the hotel bar downstairs, and their Pina Colada was very good.
In summary: Despite the unique location, we won't be returning to this establishment again. We still give 2 stars - due to the Location and the Sushi,...

We stayed at the hotel and decided to give this place a try. Two of us arrived at 9:25pm and were told by the blond front desk woman that tables were all reserved and the bar was full. Instead of turning us away, she decided to lie and told us to wait 5 minute as a table might be ready. We said ok and went outside to catch the some air. A few minutes later, 2 other guys got there and were seated immediately. The front desk person saw us and with hesitation, told us to follow her, they also got a table for us. Half way down the hall, she asked if we're ok with sitting at the bar. Huh? I questioned why, she said the other guys just sat down at the table that was supposed to be ours. Umm yeah? This is her second lie. I saw the bar, and there were like 2 person sitting at it. They can fit 10 people and it still won't be full. 3rd lie. So in total she lied like 3 times. She apologized for "the situation" with her extremely broken English but doesn't seem apologetic. I expect a high level of professionalism from such a...
