If you're looking for an authentic Indian dining experience, Himalaya Indian Restaurant is a must-visit! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel welcome. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, offering great recommendations from their extensive menu.
The food was nothing short of spectacular. The Butter Chicken was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced, while the Lamb Rogan Josh was tender and packed with bold flavors. The garlic naan was fresh and buttery, and the vegetable biryani was fragrant and full of delicious spices. Every dish was prepared with care and authenticity.
The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable for the quality of food served. The restaurant was clean, and the service was prompt, making for an all-around excellent dining experience.
Whether you're a fan of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, Himalaya Indian Restaurant delivers an unforgettable meal. I’ll definitely be...
Read moreComing here, I sat in their outside seating. I was greeted by an Indian gentlemen, I've been looking forward to coming here and trying their Phall and as I was ordering it the waiter was trying to make sure that I know what I'm ordering as this is creme de la creme of spicy Indian dishes.
Along with phall I have ordered a side of garlic naan and a small beer.
The beer was brought fast and waiting roughly 12 minutes, I got large portion of chicken phall with lots of meat, firm, thick texture and decorated with almost halved slice of lemon spread across. The side of naan was three pieces, felt crunch and warm, at the end of the meal I was sad I could not finish all three as I was full.
The phall itself wasn't the spiciest one I have had but it was flavourful to degree it's spiciness, which still had mule kick to it, didn't bother me at all.
Overall, great service, wait time and most of all excellent food....
Read moreSorry but the food wasn't good at all. Paneer Chilli was actually Paneer deep fried with yellow bell pepper and onions. Very oily and not really good in taste. Paneer had white sesame topped all over. Not everyone eats sesame. They should have mentioned it while taking the order. I don't remember if it was mentioned in the menu. Same with Chicken Tikka. It wasn't Chicken rather cooked the same way like Paneer Tikka- just fried chicken pieces and the onions in it were like we fry/cook onions in any vegetable we make. The Vegetarian biryani was not biryani but mushy pulao with less vegetables (no paneer). The rice used was a normal rice not basmati with long rice grains. It wasn't Biryani!!! Raita and Lamb Jhalfreezi were good in taste though. The behaviour of the staff was good but the quality of the food was very low. I wish we took pictures...
