Definitely my best museum I’ve ever been to. I’m a medical student without any prior knowledge in films, but the museum’s presentation was wonderful. I’ve never seen anything like this before. The exhibitions demonstrate how films and animations were made in the past. Everything there was interactive and photogenic. There was also a VR that took me on a train and let me interact. The ticket includes Czech’s first VR film which is about exploring the author’s mind. I wouldn’t say the plot was any interesting, but the colors, paintings, and interactions available were nothing less than perfect. Don’t forget to add this to your itinerary!!!!! It was too quiet and underrated. I’m the only guest there for 80 mins. At last, I would like to praise the service. There are only two people running the whole museum, but they are super friendly and helpful. One accompany me throughout the journey. It was...
Read moreA fun educational visit that won't feel like being education at all. The place is full of games and interactive stops where you can try to create something yourself to see how the things in film industry actually work. I recommend to go to the place with a friend or few, as it's much more fun, e.g. when you create together your own audio for the played movies. The staff working at the place is super nice, spoke great English and also offered to me and my friends that we can leave our backpacks at the cash desk, so we don't need to think about them on the tour at the museum. If you need internet, e.g. to check your parking ticket, as I needed to, there is a WiFi at the place. I recommend to get the password at the beginning of the tour, as the lower floor is in the cellar without mobile...
Read moreA true hidden Gem in Prague. Prior to our arrival I'd researched pretty well what I wanted to do during our time here but we were incredibly lucky to stumble upon this on the way back to our hotel.
The Museum was incredibly interactive, my 4 year old absolutely loved it and the Staff, who were warm, friendly and constantly on hand to assist us couldn't do more to talk about the venue and were clearly passionate about what they did.
The sound studio, the 35mm reel you could crank yourself and the light work with the train were all the highlights of the Museum.
Whether you have a passionate or passing interest in film, I'd recommend this highly as a visit for all ages.
One of the highlights of our...
